I would NEVER do business with them again.
I'm not sure how they stay in business and I certainly don't understand how they (Jennifer Royer) can not stop and ask themselves how they can be better at what they do.
I left two voice messages- one with a Harry Border, and another with a Jennifer-neither were returned.
I called a third time and since I recognized the receptionist, I mentioned that neither of my calls had been returned and it had been well over 2 days. I felt like I was bothering them to do business with me!
The receptions was very apologetic (good start) and resolved to get me transferred to someone, not a machine (very good). Unfortunately, I was transferred to a Jennifer Royer, who was not only curt, but unapologetic about the way the Company had so far managed a potential client.
Well, I am able to look past certain personality types, so I got straight to what I needed which was Title representation as I planned on purchasing a property.
I made sure to mention I was from out of state so I was not familiar with the process in KY.
Do you think that would have been sufficient information to perhaps inform me?
Nope.
It is Wednesday early in the afternoon and I sent my purchase agreement via email (fully executed contract for purchase, I am a Realtor in CA, so I am not ignorant to contracts). I get a response that it was received. Good.
I was told 24-48 hours to order Title. Okay...that should put me at Friday, right? Maybe, maybe Monday- morning at the latest.
I called on Friday- got a very cold reiteration of it requiring 48 hours to order. Fine. I let it slide.
Monday, it is past 1pm-no phone call, no email. Silence.
I called. Jennifer cold again, tells me it it takes 48 hours, to which I inform her it has been over 48 hours. She tells me she can't tell me exactly when they will have any information-no apologies, no change in tone, no explanation.
I ask her to please reach out via email....and I explain that I am a Realtor in CA and we have time lines so as to explain why I kept contacting her-maybe KY is a different with their timelines?
She told me that since it was a cash file-no financing, it would get put aside until closing and I would have to call to make sure it closed. Wow....
Well, it is Wednesday again...7 full calendar days and I am calling because someone left me a voice message about the contract. I called and NO ONE knows who called (don't they use data trailing and leave memos for one another?? This is an office with Attorneys.)
Also, there is no clearance on Title. Jennifer tells me rather without any concern that they have not heard anything. It has now been 7 days. Seven. Really? This is how they do business?
I asked that she get back to me no later than tomorrow (Thursday) before end of business.
This is incredibly unprofessional. Feels like I am not only begging to work with this company, but also manage them and make sure my information is being worked on.
I have asked to rescind my contract with them if they cannot give me information by Thursday.
I would never use them again. Jennifer replied with a very uncaring "sure".
Unfortunately, they have no idea that I am continuing to do Real Estate in KY and I would never recommend them.
I have no idea how they stay in business. None. I will for sure be using their competitor.
It's disgusting that a business could be so blatant about not caring.
Good thing they have a receptionist with manners. read more
