I came up to Minot for an Air Force training Aug 11 2023. We (myself and a few Air Force buddies) were hoping to grab a bite and dip a toe across the border. We walk in, door bell rings, and it's somewhat empty. Owner, Pat, greets us at the door. He says they're not open yet, and he's just taken over ownership. We all sit around talking about the lounge, the hopes he has for his business, how he wants to make the location a great spot for family and friends on the road. It wasn't open, but when they do open, if the food is anything like the owner, then this is going to be the best spot on the border. It'll be my favorite spot in North Dakota. The hospitality and genuine ownership was a breath of fresh air from a California kid. 10/10 Five Stars. I'll never forget this place. Must see if you're near St. John or The Turtle Mountains. Great food, great atmosphere, and nice people. All around a great experience! One of my favorite places to eat, drink and throw darts.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! This place is literally right on the border. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but inside it has all the feel of home. Nice little bar, and a GREAT restaurant. For the money, it is the best food I have had in ND yet! Tthe steak was to die for, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect. I have been looking for good food here in ND and have finally found it. It is about a 10 minute drive from Belcourt and well worth it. When we pulled up the lot was full, and the place is bigger than it looks. The staff were attentive, friendly, and fast. The drinks are cold, the food great, and the people nice. Cool place about 50 feet from the Canadian border. Steaks are priced according to size and decent. If I recall, all are rib eyes and fairly lean. Fun place to visit. read more
