Great staff really make this bar what it is…read more Also, a huge selection of sky boxes mean that they will probably have any sporting event available to watch on one of the many screens, however obscure. They will even give you headphones if what you are watching is different to the main attraction. We watched the Hamburg Masters final between Federer and Nadal with wireless headphones on, while everyone else watched football. It gave it a slight 'Silent Disco' feeling. Which was quite cool. The service is outstanding, the staff will do everything they can to make sure you have a good time. There's a nice attention to detail - like all the glasses being pre-chilled. The cocktail of the night is about £3.50 (cheap for London, not so cheap for Turkey) but it's a real event. A sparkler, and more decorative appendages than I have ever seen in a beverage. And you get it all EVERY TIME you order the cocktail of the night (which changes nightly). See photos. They also do food of the snacky kind, and the more substantial, throughout the day. I had a steak and chips (and salad and a bit of rice) for about £7 on our last day. There are also burgers/pizza/pasta/salads with prices between £3-£10. The food is of a pretty good quality, steak was lovely. Efes beer, the local (very nice, to me tastes a bit like Czech beer) is the best value drink at around £2 a pint, the local cider I really liked but they were charging around £3 a bottle, which is quite pricey for Turkey. Overall, the bar has a great friendly atmosphere, is ideal for watching sports, but is a bit more expensive than other bars. But it does feel a bit classier.

I stopped at the Devamli Hotel which is above the Sports Inn, as a result I spent a lot of time…read morehere. The staff were very friendly and will go out of their way to ensure you are happy. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty, I had no complaint. The cocktails were to die for, I always started my night here with a couple. Loads of tvs dotted around with motor racing on one, football on the other etc. Whatever sporting event you want to watch will be on one tv and if not, if you request it the staff will put it on. Great place with lovely atmosphere.

In the whole bay of Didim, this is the only location where you can get to hear live rock music…read morebands that play international rock classics, which makes it a gem in the sand literally. I can recommend "Celestial Matters", these dudes offer a phenomenal live show with headbanging, beer baptism, guitar tricks and so on... Music wishes can be given to the staff or to the band directly, you can even hang out with the band and speak to them in several breaks. Otherwise in Didim you will only find Turkish live music or occasionally german rap in a hookah bar nearby. The staff is friendly and rotating constantly, they speak english and turkish. The prices are high due to the fact that the bar is at a key location near the beach and that there is a live band to pay, but thats the same as in every bar there. You also get to know the owner of the bar "Chico" which was a fine guy to us, we had some good conversations. he made individual cocktails for me fitting to my taste and also spend us some for free. Best thing is, youre welcome the way you are without any prejudice or pressure to spend money. A garcon of another bar was pissed about us not spending much money and passive aggressive, we didnt go there again, instead we went to the ali bar. ive seen an insane mix of people there: old, young, headbangers, casually or weirdly dressed, all under the same roof no matter how bad or good they dance, you can just be the way you are, without somebody rolling his eyes. i appreciate this alot (since im not very compatible socially, lol).
