ABYSMAL. and after being brushed off by sven the manager i have to be completely truthful. this was the worst nachos i have ever had! cheap chips cheese & chicken chunks (4) boiled with no seasoning so rubber in consistency proving INEDIBLE. horrific! and costing less than a euro to 'make' but charging 16.00 euro? i was fully prepared to transform the concessions into edible entities but as usual corporate crap sh*ts all over good intentions. What an incredible atmosphere to watch a hockey game…read more My wife and I were lucky enough to be in town when Eisbaren Berlin were in the final. We got great seats in the upper level at center ice for around 70 Euros. Having previously worked in the NHL, we were blown away by the game presentation. The intros, fire on ice, fireworks from the roof, just awesome. And you can't forget the supporters group behind the goal - singing, cheering and bouncing throughout the entire game.

The food was excellent. I had a salad and Lachs with Polenta and fried vegetables. Their potatoes with saffron was also something worth the try. You don't necessarily have to eat fish, they have all kinds of food and meat on the menu, although a vegetarian might need to choose between two dishes as far as I remember. Always packed in summer so you'll definitely will have to make a reservation.

Food was fantastic & more than enough for lunch alone but you wanted to savor each bite. We even received dessert & beer or soda besides water. Wash closets were downstairs however yet necessary.

Best kept secret for accommodation in the Berlin Hackescher Markt and A-Platz location of Mitte,…read moreBerlin. I have been staying her for over 10 years now on business and pleasure. The staff, service, and level of comfort is excellent. The breakfast makes the stay worth it alone! Rooms are compact, but thoughtfully laid out, and quiet. The new WAN Wi-FI (no more codes) is fast and easy to connect to. An ideal location for visitors to the visit be they on business trips or holidays, the lobby also contains space for working 24/7. Also 24/7 bar service, pay as you go. I love the ONE decor in the cafe area, and the cleanliness and efficiency. As they say, why pay more for great design? On business I could stay in other places 4 -5 times the price and expense it from my company, but I don't. Design and comfort are more important. Very handy location beside the A-platz Bhf and shopping area too!
