It does'nt matter if you want to buy or are just looking for advice, you will be treated with courtesy & respect, and not made to feel uncomfortable as I've sometimes experienced in some of the large well-known department stores. This is the place to come if you want advice on a make-over, or to try out various skin products. Usually you will need to book an appointment, but often you can just pop in & one of the experienced staff will willingly oblige you there & then. As an added bonus you will often be offered some free beauty samples, but if not, just ask! A perfect example of one of my recent experiences is that I popped in for a sample of a certain foundation but they didn't have any availableso instead of just turning me away, as many would do, the consultant took one of the products from the shelf and transferred some into a small container for me. Now that's what I call real customer service - and all done with a smile!

In my opinion it is aimed at kids and teenagers, but whilst shopping in the store for others I have found a nice hair accessory for myself at a very good price, so I would not dismiss it if you think it is aimed at kids! The staff are ok, when I have been of a weekend it can be very busy and I do tend to avoid a visit if it looks too busy just because it is so small!

The cafe serves some very good food but is hidden away on the top floor in the corner, and you are unlikely to stumble across it while browsing. Shame really. Outside the front, the store has a very large, flat canopy which serves to keep the rain off when meeting someone, and consequently it is one of the most popular meeting venues in Worcester. I hope Debenhams do spend some money here as it has been a fixture in Worcester since I can remember.

The range of shoes is very good - mostly Startrite and Clarks - and although they are quite pricey, I feel that they are worth every penny. It's a huge relief to know that my children are wearing well fitted shoes, and they get plenty of compliments in them too! I haven't bought any adult shoes here yet, but I have browsed them, and they stock a fantastic range.
