This store is in a good location on Chapel Street, in Southport town centre and although this store has a slightly older feel to it, it has a satisfactory selection of products and is a pretty decent store, while it can't compare to the locations nearby in Liverpool city centre, it isn't a bad alternative for the people of Southport.
They only seem to have one set of automatic doors, it would be nice if they had them on both sides (one-way system), as I do find them more welcoming.
The staff seem OK, they don't particularly stand-out. The Pharmacy is open at the same hours as the store, I do find it to be quite limiting as they shut at 17:30 but this seems to be common of many shops in smaller towns and cities sadly.
The Opticians area is smaller than other nearby stores, it is useful however for an eye-test but perhaps not picking up a new pair of eye-glasses.
3* - OK, obviously there is better not too far away, in many nearby towns and cities, but not a bad alternative if you're in Southport. read more
