Their shops can be found normally in the middle of the high street and inside the shops items are sensibly organised so that lunch time shopping is done quickly. Superdrug stock the same sort of items as boot. You can find mens deodrants and shaving items as well as aftershave. For women they have lots of beauty products. I am not a women myself but from previous visits they seemed to have a good selection of womens things. They also sell food and drink which is also convient. I would go as far as to say that Superdrug is much cheaper then boots. They regularly have good offers on. They vary from buy 2 get one free to just plain old fashion savings. I find the staff very polite and efficient. They always seem to have the right number of people serving so that you are never queuing for long. This is a plus point for me as I hate wasting my lunch hour in a queue. I like Superdrug and given a choice out between Boots and Superdrug, I would choose Superdrug 99% of the time!

They have a huge range of fragrances and I've always found the staff here to be very helpful when you're trying to decide which one to buy (for yourself or for someone else) - they also often give you free samples to take away which is nice. It's well worth making your way to the back of the store as they have lots more things here like gifts and digital cameras, as well as toys etc. There are often great deals on these - and I've bought several half price cameras from here previously.

Behind the plexiglass screen they have an excellent range of over the counter medicines which the staff are very knowledgeable about. If you need any advice on prescription medication then there is always a pharmacist on site. They are very knowledgeable and helpful and will whatever they can for you. I often get my prescriptions filled here and even though I have several items on my prescription they are always prepared quickly and accurately. Every now and then the pharmacy might be short of one of my tablets but they always have them in the next day at the very latest. They also offer a repeat prescription collection service where they will take your repeat requests to any local surgeries for you and then fill them, which is very convenient.

Many of the staff have been there for a long time and are very dedicated to their jobs. The customer service is excellent. This particular store did suffer about seven years ago from very poor moral. This was due to some very bad decisions regarding recruitment of junior management. Sadly the company still relies heavily on the recruitment of university graduates into management position. As these graduates have very little or no communication skills this can have, and has had in the past, a detrimental effect on the store. Hopefully the moral is better at Sainsburys Knotty ash now.
