Always looking for a new bookstore when visiting a new city. Excited to stop in and look around…read more This is a HUGE store with both an upstairs and downstairs. There are books for all ages from newborn to seniors. There are more than books here! We enjoyed taking our time and looking at as much as we could in the hour we had available on this day. I love looking at cookbooks and there is an excellent variety to choose from. Books from local authors and books related to Tennessee and its history are displayed nicely. I knew I wasn't leaving without at least one book and I found two paperbacks for $5.99 each. Both books from best selling authors that I am excited to read. I highly recommend stopping in to pick out a book! Note: not a moon pie fan so I can't comment on that part of the store.

It's chock full of advertising for the tourists in town. Not much for news and that's okay. Before you start doing whatever it is you've come to Helen to do - drink, hike, eat, shop - pick up a copy.
