A retainer of $5000 was taken, yet no response, and a constantly blow off when my sister asks for updates. I would have fired this attorney on month 2 ...not waiting for over a year. I have dealt with attorneys for the past 10 years, and never have seen this type of behavior. Unacceptable. My sister is just too nice! I recommend to future clients: not using her. The paralegal was the only one working on the case and rarely as well. i found out Mrs. Scott passed but not from the legal office. my case never made it to court and the money was taken from the trust. I found out from the paralegal that Mrs. Scott was having financial issues and stopped utilizing an accountant to manage the trust. needless to say I was scammed out of money for no work rendered.
