Secondly, the shopkeeper was very friendly and gave me additional historic information about the Dala horses which I had bought. Lastly, the shop was located in a place where it was easily accessable by foot + there was an ancient runestone on the outside wall of the store.

I am a gypsy at heart and will remain so for the rest of my life. Also, I am a city person. Not that I do not enjoy walks through amazing landscapes. Of course I do. But Stockholm was something else. This review is about one shop, rightly called a studio, only. It was perfection. The kind of haven we all need from time to time, wherever we live. I have been in stores selling paper before in loads of capitals. But Ljunggrenspapper, the treasures it contains because that is what is for sale, perfect, measured magical creations, the music (did I hear music or was it really there ?), the few words we exchanged .... had me nearly decide to alter my plans for the immediate future and YES, move to Stockholm find a simple room in Gamla Stan and become a scullery maid and live .... happily ever after. Thank you Barbara. I would love to come today. Tomorrow and many many more times. Have plans for the next months but will try to make this return come true.
