I came here with a group of friends ready to tackle mountain biking! None of us had ever been here…read morebefore and so, for some strange reason everyone decided that they wanted to do the most difficult trail... Because that's what first-timers do and especially men who want to prove their masculinity. My God it was difficult, exhausting and possibly the most exercise I've done in my life! I was sweaty, I was muddy and wet but it was fun. I feel I would have enjoyed it more had we done one of the less difficult routes first and will not be so ambitious next time. Also, my bottom was so sore for days afterwards! Bicycle seats are brutal... And I had a gel cushion on mine. One of the bikes broke on our way through the trails and had to wait ages for someone to come out and deliver a working bike to us... But not sure if that's something to do with the quality of the bike or that this particular person on the bike kept trying to change gears far too quickly and too impatient to let the bike adjust. Will find out in 4 days when I give it another go! Adios.
