Decided to visit Bong Bong Hot Pot after church Sunday. We were a group of 10 and we were seated immediately. The restaurant just opened 3 weeks ago; so, I imagine the wait time will increase with time and their popularity as folks discover this cool place to eat. Service 5 stars The service is spot on. Everyone is attentive in keeping items stocked and food areas clean. Wait staff is very helpful with menu exploration. Food 5 Stars This place is loaded with options. You select your protein and servers will bring the meat options out to you thinly sliced on a plate. You proceed to cook your meat with the broth you selected from the menu options. Hold tight! you do not have to eat meat. There is the wall of veggies+. There are so many options on this wall. There is a wide selection of freshly cut veggies as well as seafood items (shrimp, clams, mussels, and crab). They even have spam for courageous meat scrape lovers. There is an amazing sauce bar. It is loaded with onions, cilantro, soy sauce, vinegars etc. The desert station has a soft serve ice cream machine, flan and other tasty treats. The beverage machine offers the traditional sodas and a lemonade option. Atmosphere 4 Stars The restaurant is loud due to the open concept and loud music so general conversation can be challenging. Since this is an all you can eat buffet, there is no taking home of your leftovers. They encourage only ordering what you can eat and will charge for meat left on the plate. Location 5 Stars Located in a strip mall off of Iliff behind the Stampede. Ample parking and easy access from main streets. limited disabled parking spaces. There is limited outdoor seating for waiting or partaking in items not requiring cooking. Open entering the establishing one can relish in the flavored water and tea options. There is a basket of snacks as well. Budget 5 Stars We enjoyed our time here. It is a bit pricy for the average family but worth it. Left stuffed and satisfied. The variety and premium meat and seafood options are worth it. Official rating 4.8 Stars out of 5 categories listed above I hope you enjoy your visit.

The place looks great. Decor and the open atmosphere. The service was good too. They were helpful when asked for some for my kids. I ordered the signature broth and it ruined my experience. I wasn't anticipating a sweet broth. My palate wasn't the same. Everything had that taste after. I switch broths to pho (which cost an extra $5) but that didn't help. They do have a large selection of veggies, seafood, and meats They have a desert and drink station. So enjoy that. They also have plentiful parking. Recommendation: have a simple pork bone broth option.

We were super excited to try the fancy new Hot pot restaurant in town. And to be honest, the food did not disappoint. You do have to kind of be bop around the whole restaurant to find everything you need but they have everything. It's got a larger seafood section than most of the hot pots I've been to in town and the dessert section puts every other Hot pot restaurant to shame. The meat was not quite my favorite. It was a little bit tougher than some of them we've had, but honestly no real complaints on the food at all. Drinks are included, which is something that's a little bit different. They have a selection of teas and some fruit smoothie type drinks as well as flavored water and Pepsi products. The vibe of the restaurant is actually really good. And the service was great, very attentive, but our major problem was the wheelchair accessibility. Wheelchair accessibility: so to start off there's only two close accessible parking spots, both of which were taken up by the senior daycare center's staff vehicles or company vehicles and so we ended up having to park much further away, and it was hard to navigate getting onto the curb. The path of travel from the sidewalk into the restaurant is also a little bit difficult. There's an outside table that blocks a lot of the room and then there's a couple of tight turns to get in. There's a double door to get inside. We had staff help us one time on the way out: on the way in we navigated in ourselves as long as you have an extra person with you, it should not be too difficult. There's plenty of room to travel in this restaurant. All of the tables have benches or Japanese style seating that can't really be moved out of the way. I was able to sit on the side of one of these tables and stay in my wheelchair which worked OK, however, it was a bit hard to reach the heating element/bowl. Staff did offer assistance multiple times which was appreciated. Everything is spaced out really nicely, but the largest issue we encountered was the bathroom. The exterior door to the women's bathroom was nice and light and easy to open. However, the apparent handicap stall is not accessible at all; it is narrow and the door swings inward cutting off already limited turn radius. even with a medium size manual chair it was difficult to get in and actually was impossible to get out. It required two people to help and we almost had to remove the door. We did speak to the staff and gave us a suggestion on how to help but I'm not sure if it's gonna get fixed. There's also no grab bars and the soap and towels are a little bit high. So while we would love to come back for the food, we're not sure if we're gonna be able to come back because of the accessibility.

I visited this place for Mother's Day yesterday and was an amazing experience. Amazing service. Beautiful place. Great price and an amazing selection of food. I will definitely be back.

Came here to continue the birthday celebration weekend for the family. We love how spacious the tables are and the hot pot were a little bit further from the edge of the table with wider and shallower pots compared to other hot pot places. This is great for various reasons: 1 - not getting steamed in the face when cooking. 2 - having space in front of your pot to put the sauce and the dish for hot food. 3 - the pot is shallower so you can see your root veggies and seafood in case they decided to take a deep dive and disintegrate (or get really tiny and chewy). I love love love that they offer so many dessert options, yes this hot pot place is a bit more costly compared to others, but they have a big selection of dessert, hot dishes and drinks. Some reviews not on Yelp had mentioned their dessert is flavorless, but I think if you know an Asian person you'd know the highest compliment for an Asian dessert establishment is - not too sweet, which Bong Bong delivered. The thai iced tea had strong tea taste, not too sweet, so is the milk tea... and their soft serve was done well too. Great service from the lady who helped us with amazing recommendations. They were limited on the ribeye and short rib but it was Easter Sunday and this place is pretty new. I'll definitely be back soon!

Restaurant was very modern and clean. Broth and cuts of meat came out very quickly. The buffets had plenty of appetizers, veggies, noddles, seafood, other meats, drinks, and desserts. Waiters Brandon and Tino were nice and efficient. It is more on the pricier side but makes sense when it includes drinks and dessert.

LET ME TELL YA, when my Taiwanese friend visiting suggested this place I was SO excited. Walking in I was immediately impressed by the scale and look of the restaurant - reminded me of a hot pot spot I recently went to in Toronto. You select your broth, I got the original bong bong which is a base of bone broth and you order any alcohol with the waiter upon sitting. Each person can select 2 meats (highly recommend the short rib) at a time. The veggie and protein options that you get up to collect yourself are plentiful, except I couldn't find any soft tofu. You can also then create your own sauce, then go grab other hot foods like fried rice and potstickers. You have options for beverages as well - milk tea, Thai tea, juices and soda. The meats came out timely and were great quality (at least the ones we got), we were pretty full after 3 rounds of ordering. Desserts are a plenty as well, pudding options, fruit and soft serve. Overall, I can't wait to go back! I recommend if you're looking to try hot pot in Denver.

This new hot pot spot was such a fun experience. They have a double sided wall where you grab your own veggies, noodles, and seafood, which makes everything feel fresh and interactive. The space is very spacious. The lower seating area has you switch into slippers, which adds a clean and cozy vibe. They also offer dessert options like no other and a variety of fried food, so it feels like a full feast. The bar was a great touch too. The staff were friendly, energetic, and attentive. Parking was easy since it is in a shopping area. I got the tom yum soup, which was delicious but a bit on the sweeter side. This place is definitely more fun for groups of friends to come. I would definitely come back.

This hotpot place just opened recently and it over exceeds my expectation Food (4.5/5) There's so much to choose from (seafood, meat, veggies) and they even have a hot appetizer and dessert bar as well. The drinks are self serve and there's also milk tea thai tea and mango slushies. I recommend trying their matcha ice cream:) the meats are cut a bit thicker than other hotpot places. All the meats are cut the same in terms of thickness so it's hard to really taste the flavor of each meat. Atmosphere 4.8/5 The restaurant is very spacious and clean. There are various types of seating: booth, table, bar, and even tatami like tables. The bar is a bit high and is a bit uncomfortable due to the height. The restaurant is very clean and is constantly refilling the food Service 5/5 My friend and I came to try out the new place and got seated pretty quickly. Our server Jacob at the bar was really nice and explained the broths to us. He constantly came over to check up on us and even cleared all of our empty plates. The bar felt more chill and private for a party of two as well. The service definitely solidified our new go-to hot pot place in Denver. In the waiting lobby area, they also have self serve water as well as chrysanthemums ice tea. There are also many tables outside to wait and socialize with your party prior to being seated. The water/ tea is def a nice gesture! Bonus

I went with the spicy broth, hoping for that deep, numbing kick... but it came out surprisingly bland. Not much flavor building even after simmering for a while. I've had better spicy bases elsewhere that actually make your lips tingle and keep you coming back for more. Meat selection was mixed: - Lamb was the biggest disappointment--way too dry and tough. I've had melt-in-your-mouth lamb slices at other spots, so I know it shouldn't be like chewing leather. - Brisket was solid--lean, not overly fatty, cooked up tender. - Pork belly was a highlight--cut thin like bacon, so it crisped up fast and tasted rich without turning greasy. - Tripe and beef stomach were both pretty good--chewy in the right way, soaked up the broth nicely once it finally started carrying some flavor. Overall, it hit the spot for a casual hot pot meal, especially when you're not starving. But for the price, I'd expect more consistent quality on the meats and a broth that actually delivers the punch it promises. Service was friendly and attentive, though. Might return to try a different broth or on a busier night when things are fresher, but it's not a must-revisit spot yet. Would I go back? Maybe. But I'd be pickier next time.
