I've no idea how me and the girls never found this very clean, sharp dining room before now. Greatly enjoyed almost all of our fabulous sharing dishes - excellent burrata, sherried chicken livers, a beetroot and vodka salmon, a roast of aubergine, and a duck leg confit with celeriac. Service was over the top magnificent. The American taking care of us must have been a refugee from Mark Hix' spots or some such, he was absolutely spot on-total surprise in this neighbourhood. Top marks. Only lower points-the house wines were served in odd carafes and were merely adequate and the only food miss-our melanzane had odd cold pockets through the charred plating.
