Service was awesome - Eric was amazing! Love the happy hour! Glad it's in the whole restaurant now, not just the bar. I live in Ft Lauderdale area and I have never seen the char grilled oysters at Bonefish. I asked where they weee from and they came from outside Chesapeake Bay Area so great! 6 oysters for $15.90. The description was char grilled oysters with bread crumbs and parm cheese . They came and looked beautiful! However , the parm was so strong, it completely overpowered the oyster. It was SO salty!! I asked Eric and he said that was how they make them. Thought - just make the oysters and add spinach and cheese and bread crumbs ( oysters Rockefeller) . Very disappointed in this appetizer. We had the grilled shrimp and scallops with jasmine rice and asparagus. Very heavy seasoning- we need to remember to say light spice. Shrimp were perfectly cooked, but sea scallops were VERY small and overcooked .jasmine rice very good. So I would def order again- just light seasoning. We ordered a pumpkin crème brûlée that was AWESOME! 3 people ate it and it was light and delicious . I love Bonefish Grill. Love it everywhere. However very disappointed in oysters and would NOT recommend. I asked Eric if it was supposed to be salty , and he said guests had commented that it was salty, and not that good. Management should look at that. Very clean , great bathrooms.

I cannot say enough about this particular bonefish! Every time we go here, the service is on point. The atmosphere is clean, and the food taste amazing... better tasting drinks that I've had! Looking forward to going again soon

The bamb bamb shrimp tacos with some citrus coleslaw

As you walk in you immediately feel how much they love their wine. Wine was just everywhere all over the walls the lightning was super good. Seats were nice. Some music in the background but it didn't really match the atmosphere of the restaurant. I got the bamb bamb shrimp tacos with coleslaw. Very flavorful and special. The coleslaw had hints of citrus in it and some butter. But the veg was very fresh. My tacos were very well cooked not chewy at all. With a green sauce on it. The searing was great. Our server was very nice and almost tricked us into getting a desert she was very funny. The food came out fairly fast but could've been faster. We arrived at 8:00 and it was bumping but as we got our food it started to calm down. The bathrooms were clean large and lighted to perfection. I also got a surely temple it wasn't too sweet but the perfect sweetness maybe a bit less ice next time but I did start to chew on it so it was good. All in all definitely recommend

Wife and I dropped in for lunch. The bartender was our server. Wife and I both had the corn chowder with crab which wasn't too bad. We also split a crab cake appetizer and an order of bang bang shrimp. Overall everything was just okay.

I had lunch with a colleague. The staff immediately sat us down at a table. Our drink order was taken quickly. The waiter was moving swiftly as they appeared to want to get people in and out quickly during the lunch hour. We had bang bang shrimp and I had a fish meal. Recommend for anyone as they are very consistent

Ceasars salad

I never have Abad meal here but can't day I've ever had a terrific one either. Just "fine" So I wanted to try their cocktail that changes colors when the ice melts, like the ones they serve at the Ritz in Sarasota This was not even close. Overly sweet and loaded with triple sec. We started with the calamari which was over cooked and a disaster. I got the house salad and he got the Ceasars. The house was really good with more than just your basic cucumber and 1 tomato For dinner he got the seafood linguine and my side of spinach. I got the steak and garlic mashed spuds. Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to the aforementioned triple sec , got sick and had to leave. But I had my meal at a later point and it was good. Friends pasta was delicious too. Service was excellent..friendly and efficient

The restaurant is located behind the German club on 66th Street, a second business in the German club parking lot! Apparently, the family that has his place is from Maine and they got a lot of success brewing beer. That's success led them to start the restaurant serving seafood from a family business in Maine. We started off with a bowl of New England clam chowder and a dozen oysters. To what are whistles we got a glass of their tap Chardonnay and a beer. My wife's Chardonnay was ridiculously good! But nothing could beat those oysters - sweet with a little bit of brine, and very fresh. For dinner we got a lobster roll - they come hot or cold, with the hot coming with melted butter. We also got the fried haddock roll.... Wow! Both were fantastic! I know we overdid it with dinner.... We even got an order of the whole belly clams. I didn't think anyone in Florida served those down here! Absolutely ridiculous . In short, we had fantastic dinner and terrific beverages. I really recommend you at least try to find the place - we almost didn't go in because of its awkward location and the fact that no cars were outside. We saw the place was open and decided to have a appetizer because the Yelp review was so strong, and I'm glad we did! I told the two people there they should park their cars nearby so patrons would see them..... Anyway, I'm going back again, but this time I'm bringing friends!

I was sad they didnt have chowder so next time I'll try that and the maine lobster roll. Oysters are from Maine and they were spot on. They do an oyster special on Thursdays and Ill be back for that! Great selection of beers - they brew in house and have some other local ones. They also do flights which is great. Caylen was our server and he was great and knowledgeable. There's also ton of parking in the back. If you like good beers and maine style seafood this spot is for you!

I chose 1/2 lb of shrimp free with purchase of a chef special combo. The Chef Special Combo I chose was 1/2 lb shrimp + mussels + sausage, all drenched in their signature hot sauce (the menu warns that their sauces are hotter than other establishments so I did not go with very hot like I usually would and I'm glad that I did). The combo also included miniature potatoes and 2 pieces of corn on the cob. I could not finish it. My friend ordered the scallops dinner in a mild sauce and he was very pleased. We also split an appetizer of calamari which was delicately breaded and fried just right (not rubbery). Their signature drinks were a Little pricey but they were tasty and had a kick to them. Our server was on the ball and did a fine job of taking care of us without interfering with our conversation or enjoyment of the meal. They have a pretty extensive menu of options, but our go to is the fried grouper sandwich with American cheese and no lettuce or tomato. Our other go to is the lobster roll. Now this go around we did notice the lobster was more shredded than it was chunks which is what we've seen previously so that was a bit of a change, but overall, it was still good. We've had the onion rings before but this go round we decided to share a side of french fries and we did ask for them crispy. They were perfect. Be prepared to wait though as this location is super small and if you come during a busy season or around that lunchtime period you're most likely going to have to wait. This is not a great location for large groups. If you have more than five people in your group this is probably not the best location for you as they cannot seat more than one large group at a time. But, one thing we did notice is that you can walk up and order to go. That's a great option to have and something we may take advantage of in the future.

When the host came out, she stated that she needed to "clear the area." While we understand the need to manage space, the request was directed at us and was delivered in an unpleasant, dismissive tone. She then said there would be about a 25-minute wait and that there were parties ahead of us, which we understood and accepted. However, we were later told that despite being on the list, we would not be seated because there was "no way to contact us" when our turn came and that we needed to remain in one specific spot. Given that no instructions or staff were present when we arrived, this explanation was confusing and felt inconsistent. The interaction gave the clear impression that we were not welcome to wait or dine there, so we chose to leave. Dining out should feel respectful and inclusive, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

From the outside, it doesn't immediately stand out. But once you make your way around back, the setting opens up to a waterfront view along the intracoastal that completely changes the experience. Sunset is the time to be here. Between the colors over the water and the occasional dolphin or manatee sighting, it's a setting that feels far more special than the location suggests. There's usually plenty of parking, though the entrance can be easy to miss if you're not paying attention. Look for the break in the divider when coming off the main road, otherwise you might drive right past it. The atmosphere leans lively but relaxed. They typically have live music in the evenings, which adds just the right amount of energy without overwhelming the space. Seating is flexible with both indoor and outdoor options, though on especially hot days, you'll want to be mindful of where you sit. The Florida sun can be intense, so a shaded table with a fan makes a big difference. Drinks are worth exploring here, especially since they tend to rotate specials. It's always a good idea to ask what's currently featured. The menu is rooted in New Orleans-style Creole cooking, and it shows. There's a wide range of seafood-heavy options, from po'boys and shrimp or scallop pastas to fried baskets, chowder, and fish and chips. The dirty rice and beignets round things out nicely if you're looking to branch beyond seafood. Prices run slightly above average, but the quality backs it up. Portions are solid, flavors are on point, and the overall experience makes it feel worth it. This is the kind of place locals keep in their rotation and bring visitors to when they want to show off something a little different. It's relaxed, scenic, and consistently delivers, which is exactly why it sticks with you after the first visit.

There's plenty of umbrellaed tables and picnic tables. They have a full menu of apps, seafood, and burgers. Their whole fried snapper is one of our favorite fish, and Hookin' serves a generous serving, perfectly tender and sweet, in a light crispy layer of coating, on a regular soft bun, with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Their Fried Wahoo is also well-prepared. We got fried, and it was tender and fresh. Both fish came with a heaping serving of hot crispy fries. You could also get either fish blackened, and you could add various veggies as sides. We ordered our food and also picked it up ourselves at the bar. Hookin' can get crowded, especially when they have a live musician, and parking can get pretty tight. It's just off I-275 at 22nd St, in St. Pete Fl east of Gulfport. I got off the bus and walked across the street and into the parking lot. It was fairly busy, and I made my way to the patio area, because outside seating only. There was a kind of tiki bar with a line where you go up and get your own alcoholic beverage any time you want. You can eat at the bar or at any of the picnic tables that you pass on the way to a kind of food truck with a window where you order your food and buy bottles of soda and iced tea from a vat full of ice. I loved the vibes right away. I got in line at the "truck". Then it was my turn to order. Well, whaddaya know, they just ran out of blue crabs! And no soft-shell crabs were available as the water they live in is not warm enough yet. But they did have one of my favorite seafood delicacies, stone crab claws, so I ordered those instead, and asked for the mustard sauce instead of melted butter. I also ordered French fries and cole slaw for my sides. And then I ordered one-half dozen raw oysters, because. I was given a little wire stand with a card inserted into the top with my order number on it, to be placed on my table. Then I sauntered over to the bar and ordered an IPA from the busy, bearded and well-tattooed bartender. If you are wearing shades you will be admonished to remove them before paying, and I saw why, as the display on the... pay thingy has excessive polarization. Next I found a good spot in the shade and sipped my beer and checked the place out. Was there music? I think so, but I can't remember! Just all kinds of folks having a good time. Two preschoolers were busily playing in the sand by the main walkway to the food line, and took up most of the path most of the time, but nobody seemed to mind. If you aren't into playing with little trucks in the sand I think there is also corn hole off in one corner. If you don't know what that is, I dare you to look it up. After not too long some plates of food showed up, and I took some pictures and then got busy. First I tried the fries, because they are best when fresh and hot, but the fries were limp and sad. I just let their little ol' hand-cut selves alone. The oysters were served on the half shell on ice, and came with nice hot grated horseradish and cocktail sauce, plenty of lemon wedges, and saltine crackers. They were excellent! Then I turned my attention to the claws, glorious stone crab claws. I noticed that I was given butter instead of mustard sauce. That didn't stop me. But what did slow me down was the lack of a claw-cracker. The claws were pre-cracked a bit, but not in a way that was helpful to get at the meat. And I need leverage to rip the joints apart as my fingers don't work like they used to, so I asked for, and received quickly, a cracker. Some of the claws were on the small side, and the meat in some of the claws was a bit soft-feeling, but it was all pretty tasty. However, they fell short of my previous experiences elsewhere, including when I cooked some at home a few years ago. The cole slaw was very good. The young guy who brought my food and cracker tool was friendly, and quite funny. The woman who took my order was also nice. The bartender was just to busy to be anything but awesome. So all in all, the food was a bit of a letdown. I will try to go back for the crabs, and I saw hush puppies in a photo, that would be better than the fries.
