Wish I had read reviews prior to my carpel tunnel and trigger thumb surgery in February with Dr. Patterson. Was assured that I would have full use of my thumb post surgery and would be back to normal daily routines in 2-3 weeks. It's 2 months post surgery and I have JUST started physical therapy because I am still feeling the affects of the surgery and am lacking a lot of mobility and use in my hand. I am VERY disappointed that I was not sent immediately to PT post surgery. Anyone going in for this type of procedure, do your homework, find a place that treats you with kindness and demand they set you up for a good surgery experience and post surgery physical therapy. read more

I have a broken shoulder and saw Patterson. Teo surgeries later my shoulder is still broken and has not healed. Dr Patterson was dismissive and now I start a new journey with a new practice. Kaitlyn Barnes and MJ at the front desk made all the difference in the world for me they treated me with so much compassion and respect. I will never forget it. I went in with a kneecap fracture and basically felt my care was centered around what Medicaid covers which is pretty much nothing. My leg was wrapped in a temporary cast which may not even be helping the situation. I also had to seek out crutches as none were provided to me which is a whole other story in itself read more

Dr Patterson is the most condescending arrogant man Ive ever met. If you are overweight dont even bother going to see him. It will be a waste of time. Apparently he only wants the perfect patient to work with. I recommend you see another practice. WOA was far more helpful and not as rude as this poor excuse for a doctor. read more

Dr Larson is arrogant, and has no understanding of patient pain. totally insulting, and rude . the staff isn't much better, pt folks , except for the assistant, were condescending and rude. I had shoulder replacement and subsequent other problems and I was not treated well at all. I severed my care with them. read more

Dr. James Larson III is a wonderful surgeon who restored my ability to again have gracefully beautiful hand, arm and shoulder rotation and movement which is so necessary in ballroom dance. In Autumn 2021, my pain was increasing to the point where I could no longer hide it. It became apparent in my dancing, and then suddenly the aching turned into pain and became intolerable. Upon consulting with Dr. Larson, who was highly recommended by our neighbor who is a doctor, he informed me that my left shoulder joint was now bone on bone, hence the problem. My decision for total shoulder joint replacement was immediate. The surgery was October 7, 2021. It is now May 9, 2022 I have now regained total control of my hand, arm and shoulder dance movements. I am beyond thrilled and grateful to Dr. Larson. I can highly recommend his surgical abilities. Thank you Doctor Larson for putting my life back together. read more

I had a left hip replacement in 2018 with Dr. Patterson, and it really significantly eliminated my arthritis pain. There are cautions - the strength doesn't return (I did a lot of walking, swimming and gym workouts in addition to my rehab workouts, but I'm not where I was before), but in terms of pain relief, how sweet it is to be able to sleep for more than a few hours at a time! No complaints about Dr. Patterson (he did what he said he'd do, and the results were better than I expected), but a shout out to the WMC nursing staff. My wife is an ex RN and she has high standards for what nurses are supposed to be and do, and they surpassed her expectations as well as mine. The problem is now in my right hip, which I will probably have to suck up until I hit 65 and Medicare in 2022. I had very little cartilage left in my right hip at my last MRI, but I had none in my left, so that's what we chose to do. My father died in March and my bosses at work, who had been told previously about his condition with me telling them as executor that I would need a leave of absence to do estate work decided I would get three days bereavement leave and no LOA. No 50 K job after that! So now I am struggling to pay my bills for day to day living and there is no money to pay for Health Insurance, or the 40 - 70 K for my right hip replacement, so when I hit 65, Medicare will pay. And I will be pounding down aspirin to deal with the pain in the meantime. Not optimal, but people have to make decisions about what they can do, and afford, and that's what I've done. To get back on point, Dr. Patterson exceeded my expectations, and if you chose him or someone from their practice to 'commit medicine' on your body, I hope your results are similar to mine. read more

Doctor Bruening is a horrible physician. I had a referral to see Doctor Baechler but somehow ended up with this fool. He looked at my clothes, looked at my wrist then gave me a replacement brace with a thumb slot for the brace that I already had with a thumb slot just to charge me for anything. I just paid my $153 bill Just for the brace I didn't need (since I already had one) because he couldn't pay enough attention to notice I had one already. I wasn't going to dress nice for this appointment since I obviously couldn't use either of my wrists yet he judged me on my clothes even though I was in a considerable amount of pain. It's been three plus months and I still have pain due to his incompetence. If you go here, do not see he. Him likes to use phrases like "I'm not impressed by your x-rays" and "I believe your story just not your pain." Shitty ass excuse of a doctor and I wish he'd lose his title and job. He failed me and now I don't trust doctors at all. read more

Probably the worst experience I have endured. The PA that treated me was condescending, no compassion, never actually saw a doctor. Follow up visit was even worse. Pretty much told me this is what I will have to deal with until I pass. Not a spring chicken anyway. Never bothered to recheck the injury. I will not return. I will say this for the staff, receptionist, were very nice. Knee department, perhaps the doctor in charge needs to follow his PA around. read more
