I was using a walker and a cane all the time and really dreading the next step which I thought would be a wheelchair and the possibility of having to live in a nursing home. Even though I was taking lots of pain medication, nothing was helping. My arthritis doctor wanted me to take more pain meds and said I had a flare up of fibromilgia. I needed to learn to live with it. I HATE TAKING PAIN MEDS and wasn't liking that advice. One day I saw an ad about a chiropractor who specialized in helping people with fibromilgia. I contacted her, met with her, she looked at my xrays and recommended I see Dr. Kroshe as she did not think it was the fibromilgia causing the problems. It took several weeks of treatments plus me doing exercises that he showed me before I was better. He treated me like I was one of his family and encouraged me every step of the way. I went several times a week for several weeks but now I only go once a month. I am a lot better and while I am not totally pain free I only take Tylenol for pain and needless to say the wheelchair and cane are in the storage shed collecting dust. I use my walker as a rolling seat sometimes rather then carry a folding chair. It's easier on my back. I highly recommend Dr. Kroshe. He and his staff are great. Friendly, fun people.
