If there's an assistant on the door they'll hand you the standard disc for the number of clothes you've got, but you don't have to wait for an assistant to allow you to go and try clothes on. The staff are chatty and friendly so a visit to this store is not a terrible experience.

There are only a limited selection of changing rooms down stairs but up some very steep stairs there is another floor which has the Tall and Petite range as well a corner for shoes and accessories. The changing rooms up here are much more spacious. Due to it's small space it can get quite busy especially when in the sales it gets to buy one get one free where there are many bargains to be had.

The staff are extremely friendly unlike those I've found in busier city centre stores and they are also far less likely to force the opening af a Dorothy Perkins account card on you! With the Stockton Centre store now closed, I'd much prefer to stay faithful to this smaller billingham store than take a road trip to teesside retail park.

It has a large selection of shoes and always has a shoe sale rack outside the main door with lots of lovely shoes at brilliant prices. The clothes are always really high quality and very nice! It often has a rail or 2 with sale items on which are fantastically priced with up to 75% off at times. They have a small changing room to try clothes on in. The staff are very friendly and always really helpful. It is a great shop which I would highly recommend.

As well as their standard ladies range which goes up to a size 24, they have a range for petite, tall and maternity. The South shields branch is quite small compared to some branches, however, because it is just a small town branch they often have very good sales. They also offer 10% student discount if you have an NUS card so it is great if you are on a tight budget. It is worth noting that DP also have special promotional events whereby they offer 20% off everything in store so if you are looking to buy a lot of items in one go, it is worth waiting for one of these events! Great shop for all your essentials like jumpers and tops for layering, but also you can pick up some nice unique party wear and jewellry.

There is usually a security guard on the door but they are friendly and the girls who work there are usually ok but tend to study you a bit, perhaps because the shops so small there's no where else really to look! The clothes a beautiful but I find them to be very expensive even in the sales. The changing rooms are large and there is plenty for the size of the sop. I've never had to wait. There is also another Oasis in the House of Fraser department store which is handy when like today they offer 20% off as you also get it off in Oasis.

The whole shop appears a bit like a girls dressing room with fairy lights and glass tables. I like the clothes here, they're a bit expensive and never have that much money off but they tend to be a bit unique from other stores. I have a gorgeous red v neck cardigan here, never seen one quite like it to be honest. The staff are all really polite and the store is hardly ever busy, it's nice to just pop in to.

All of the clothes are designer and are generally very pricy but very nice. There are often sales which you can always bag a bargain at. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. They will always give their opinion and help you to find something that suits you but can often be very pushy, be warned!

The home department is also very small, managing to squeeze as much at it can in the small space - definitely not a place to let a small child run wild with all the glass and pot around! In terms of the womens section, there are some quite nice clothes, I've got a gorgeous red polo shirt from here and there are often nice skirts, dresses and cardis. However in terms of pricing, it's really expensive! It's ok around sale time and often they do 25% or 50% off weekends, that's when I tend to go shopping in the place. Or wait until the sales. There is some nice jewellery as well. You have to be prepared to wait a bit at the tills because the staff wrap everything up in a professional manner. There are also only two till available. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful though can be a little snooty at times I find. I also dislike the size.
