It is just outside the town centre over the bridge and has ample parking. It is a light, airy shop and i have never felt crowded in there. The shop is clearly divided into sections and i think is easily navigated. Matalan has some great prices and the majority is of good quality, washing up quite well (always a good indicator in my book). When we were there at end of October (a weekend break to Gt Yarmouth) the entrance to the car park and some of the car park was flooded quite a bit, it was still accessible and admittedly it had rained quite a bit over the weekend.

The layout is split in the the mens, womens and childrens departments where the products are nicely display and accessable. There is a good range of clothes and the prices are reasonable. The childrens clothing is really good quality and there is a good range of choice. I also found the changing rooms to be clean and tidy and there is plently of room to change.

There's now two floors with the downstairs for women's clothing and upstairs is for men's, children's, shoes and accessories.
