Then, recently, we had a serious freeze! We saw unusually low temps in the area. Plumbing was freezing everywhere. All the plumbers and well repair firms were overtaxed. We made some interim repairs and kept going. Now, the second interim "repair" failed. We contacted Hinds. They could have come out, but we elected to have them supply the parts and some solid advice. With the right parts, the assembly went together flawlessly! We have a functional, professional looking job. It no longer looks like it was put together by someone trying to make do with mismatched, incorrect parts. I recommend Hinds without reservation!

Well drilling part was OK but lots of drilling mud left on surface for me to have to clean…read moreup/remove. Surface work (storage tank, well control, wiring etc was extremely sloppy such as storage tank control box hanging by a wire, pressure tank not centered on PLASTIC base and hanging off edge, and its electrical box hanging by a wire. They did not even clean up any and mounted this stuff on rocks, uneven ground etc. Parts of the water line was not buried but covered up by dirt they scraped up nearby. Storage tank drain valve is angled into the ground and the valve is wedged between 2 poly pipe water lines and cant be opened. Electrical cable going into tank is kept in place by a knot in the cable. Bottom line is awful work for a high price. I am looking for someone to redo all of it.

Had Allison trench power to two wells…read more I had underground wire conduit on-site and the power wire was supposed to be encased. One year later a well power wire shorted out on sharp rocks and I had to pay him again but he encased it the second time. I contracted him to drill a water well. He stopped at 140' and refused to drill any deeper. Allison reported the well as 1/2 cup per minute and offered to buy the property for his son. I just had another well company test the well yesterday...450 gallons a day not 45 gallons a day as Allison reported. I have the property listed with a Realator and when they called for a well report from Allison he stated 4 ounces per minute or plus or minus one half of a cup per minute. Glad I did not sell Allison the property for pennies on the dollar. Your mileage may vary.
