Sadly disappointed with this business. The owner Arlene does not respond to e-mails or phone…read morecalls. Her staff actually prepare the tax returns and Arlene reviews them. So the money being paid is not for her actual work or expertise but the clerical help. Had I known this upfront, I would not have used this business. The worst part, three weeks after giving them our information we did not hear until April 15th at 9 pm. Arlene calls and tells us we owe more than 10,000. We originally chose this company as Arlene stated she had experience doing taxes for expats. It is appalling to wait till the due date and then spring this large amount on someone. The good news is we took an extension and had another tax preparer take a look and ended up getting a refund. Stay away from this business if you want your taxes done on a timely basis, done right and by someone professional.

So I double checked the numbers on my paperwork (which she completed the same day) Turns out she had used the wrong numbers so my husband ending up getting $1200 back. Imagine if I would've never checked! Then last year I set up the appointment and she was responding normally, she asked for w2 and that stuff so I sent it, then she ghosted me! How are you gonna ask someone for their important papers and then ignore them??? So unprofessional, she also has an attitude towards young women, cause she treated my husband so kindly and always condescending with me and other female relatives I have that would go with Kathy. Don't recommend she's unreliable because you have to double check HER paperwork.
