I have been regularly receiving treatment from Kamesha for TMJ pain for over a year and I can honestly say she is the only person who has been able to provide me with any sort of relief whatsoever. She is exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable, has excellent bedside manner, and you can tell she actually cares if you get better. This review of Kamesha Nabors is way overdo, but I nevertheless want to share my amazing experience. I was referred to Kamesha after unsuccessful attempts to relieve my severe TMJ pain and jaw disfunction. Over the course of many months, Kamesha persistently worked on my jaw and taught me exercises that vastly improved my condition to the point where I can now open my jaw properly, eat normally, and am pain free. I no longer need jaw PT but am so grateful to Kamesha for her skill, patience, and support. Despite the long drive I had from Burbank to to her Westwood location, it was totally worth it. I can't recommend Kamesha highly enough to anyone suffering with TMJ. read more

Long story short, Kamesha is literally as good as they get. She takes her time and books out a full hour for her patients, as opposed to those physical therapists that are trying to get you in and out as fast as possible. She's one of the few physical therapists that I've come across that aren't in it for the money, but are actually in it to help people. If your health care plan covers her care (or if you don't mind paying out of pocket), rest assured that she'll take great care of you. Unfortunately, I recently switched to a new health care provider and Kamesha is not in their network. But as a testament to how much she cares, she called them on her own time to try to help me petition for continued care at her business. read more

I've been battling TMJ for over 6 years now. With multiple surgeries that I am CONVINCED could have been prevented had I come to Kamesha beforehand. Now to prevent yet another surgery (and other autoimmune symptoms from worsening) I have been working hand in hand with Kamesha and battling it off in the right way, through PT and exercises. I was sent here by a professor at UCLA dental school who specializes in TMJ and facial pain. It never would have occurred to me to see a physical therapist for issues relating to teeth and jaws. I've seen both Kamesha and Kelsey. Both of them are outstanding therapists. They are knowledgeable, patient, compassionate and both have delightful, upbeat personalities. Both have specialized training that makes their treatments stand above the rest. One big plus for me is that they will bill Medicare. Kamesha is a rockstar! Her gentle, warm manner disguises incredible knowledge and skill. She figured out precisely what my problems were and provided comprehensive, actionable information to directly address them. 10 weeks ago, I was in so much pain I was not only out of the gym, I could barely stand or walk. Kamesha is the best physical therapist I have ever been to and I have been to several. I saw Kamesha earlier this year for a sports injury after seeing two other physical therapists I was unhappy with as they spent only half an hour with me or their aides spent more time with me than they did. Kamesha spends the full hour with you (sometimes more!) and uses several modalities finding a program that is right for your needs. She has an ultrasound machine, she's great at soft tissue work as well as actual exercises which she tailors for your needs. There's a pilates refer, an elliptical, weights and more and she's great at pushing you but not too much. I recently was diagnosed with fibromyalga and Kamesha has been wonderful with helping me find a way to get back to moving my body and finding a way to gently get back into exercise. Shes also so knowledge, kind and warm and wonderful to talk to during your treatment. After each session she emails you a treatment plan of exercises for you to do on your own in the week or weeks between the the next session with her. It's so helpful and clear and a huge thing that most PTs do not do. I truly can't recommended Kamesha enough, and after searching for for a good physical therapist for so long I'm happy to say I will never have to go anywhere else. I've been to at least 4 PT practices on the West Side in the past 12 years, including Kamesha's previous employer. I was so happy with her work there on my foot that I hunted her down at her own practice when I sprained my ankle badly, and the doc said I needed PT. I've spent thousands at other physical therapists and gotten nowhere (I'm looking at you, Forster PT), but Kamesha actually helped me both times. She takes a cautious but personalized approach that bears in mind your goals (in my case, to get back to running ASAP) and your well-being. Unlike some places, she doesn't string you along for more and more sessions (cough, Forster!). And, very importantly to me, Kamesha has a genuinely friendly demeanor, a good sense of humor, and is easy to talk to. I didn't always enjoy our sessions, but I always laughed. read more

The first time I went in I was dealing with terrible TMJ, shoulder pain and lower back pain from one injury after another,Kamesha did a consultation with me and asked me key questions that I wish the p.t I was going to at another location before her would of asked me. I finally decided to take better care of my shoulder problems. I found Body Sync from my insurance list of PT. It has been the best thing I ever done for myself. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere professional yet very laid back. I have made my 3 weekly visits a ritual and I feel completely supported by the Body Sync team. Most importantly, I feel so much better. The pain has gone down and my a movement range is so much better that it has in the last 5 years I have been in pain. Large PT practices shuffled clients through the process to get insurance copayment cashed in. In the other hand. Body Sync is a true small business with personal attentive and dedicated care. I had double knee replacement in January 2016. I had not excersizes and did really no walking due to pain for 3 or 4 years. Kamesha realized after just one session that I would need more than just help with my knees. She took stock of my whole body and has worked to make me whole again.
