It's located in John Lewis and I didn't know it existed until then. Naturally, as a Clarins spa, all the products are, well... Clarins, so after your treatment they do use that as an opportunity to sell you things, but it's more just asking out of curiosity there's no hard sell or anything involved. Before my treatment I had to fill in a form to say if I was allergic to anything blah, blah, blah... I also got to choose if I wanted my treatment to be relaxing or up-lifting, as I was going out later that evening I decided to go for an up-lifting facial, so it was adjusted to suit that. The girl who was doing the treatment was lovely and really very friendly. To finish my facial the girl put "Beauty Flash Balm" on my face, it smelled amazing and gave my complection a really healthy glow, I keep meaning to buy it but I always forget. Overall this is a great place to go for a beauty treatment and it's also great for a gift, especially if you know someone who uses Clarins products.

The smells of the lotions and potions and the relaxing atmosphere was just perfect. When I left my skin was glowing and still felt so smooth & soft days later, I felt that it took years off me, even if I do say so myself!!! I left with some freebie samples and the girls at the Clarins makeup counter offered to do my makeup for me FOC. All in all a wonderful experience, and would go again - its on my wish list for Christmas.

Since my aunt first tried Molton Brown products at a swanky hotel, the females in my family have been hooked. They all now seem to have a collection of handwashes, hand lotions, shower gels, etc etc. I'm not sure what it is that makes the products quite so special but shopping here is a lovely experience. Browsing is relaxing and the till point is a far cry from the rushed and unfriendly counters so frequent at this time of year. The girl who served me spent time wrapping my gift in tissue, placing it in a lovely gift bag and popping in a wee sample too. Luxurious :)

My mum really likes Molton Brown and usually gets their hand wash and moisturiser which I usually steal if my hands get a bit dry. It's great for when it comes to birthday, Christmas and Mothers Day too as this is usually a one stop for everything, they even do the wrapping too. To be honest, you wouldn't need to wrap the stuff here as the packaging it comes it looks beautiful as it is. Rather expensive but definitely worth it if you're looking for a pretty gift for someone.

Never felt pressurised to buy anything and always made to feel most important person there no matter how busy. I've shopped in the concession in Debenhams and walked out not entirely sure the purchase I made was right for me. Now I choose Frasers every time - even if product is cheaper elsewhere. It's about an overall experience and this is one to enjoy again and again.

I sat down feeling a bit awkward so I tried to make a bit of small talk with the girls who were standing chatting. They smiled and got back to their conversation about their night out leaving me feeling even more awkward. By this time, the girl who was doing my eyebrows had arrived. I explained that I liked the thickness of my eyebrows, I was just in to get a tidy and reshape. She explained what she was going to do and was really quick with the wax. I was really pleased with my eyebrows but the level of professionalism from the counter really put me off. I'll head to HOF next time.
