Wife and I were set for a fossil dig in mid June and stopped by the shop in the afternoon as we were headed into town. The shop is under new ownership and what a change from what it was when we last visited kemmemer over a decade ago. The shop is clean and has an awesome display of numerous fossils ranging from the common to the extremely rare. The cool thing is they have stuff reasonably priced if you want to grab a fish or two for gifts. Highly recommend and worth a quick stop! read more

There are better prices virtually everywhere. Ebay. Tourist shops ... We arrived and Bob is smoking cigarettes while running an oxygen tank. A major hazard an explosion waiting to happen. He is very unfriendly and mocked us for asking the prices ... several snide comments even after we made a purchase ... he didn't get up so we thought he couldn't ... but then we saw him in the window moving about after we left ... we were disappointed after driving out of our way to find something unique from Wyoming. read more
