I've been a customer since 2002…read more Dr Paul Stratis performed my work in 2002 and I can confirm his work is excellent and stood the test of time. I had two crowns put in and they both were of superior craftsmanship, and I've enjoyed trouble free teeth since then. I made one big mistake in roughly 2007 but switching to a dentist closer to my new work location at that time. Live went on. Come 2019 I had a tooth that presented some issues and suddenly needed a rush root canal. I had issues locating a provider and decide to call up my old dentist and ended up being placed with Dr Nick Stratis, Paul's son. I can safely say the talent runs in the family. Nick was expert in his needle work, he performed the root canal quickly and expertly (on a rear molar the work is much more detailed). I had a temporary filling and a prescription for antibiotics in case the infection spread. Things recovered quickly. I went back for more detailed work and my new crown. Like before the finishing work was quick, clean, and expertly performed. I love my new crown. Absolutely no tooth or jaw alignment issues. Lastly, I should mention no great dental office is complete without great tooth cleaning experts. All of the staff who clean my teeth have done excellent work, and leave me walking away with super clean teeth and gums. It shows every time I smile. I feel obligated to maintain a great dental health routine just to not disappoint the staff on my next visit. And finally staff who run the front counter and manage appointments have been professional, organized, and super accommodating, when I've had to make schedule adjustments. I'll be going to this office for my dental work even if I move out of province. I'll find a way.

Shortly after the Runnymede location closed (while Baby Point was Reno'd) I was visiting the Little Italy location, before coming back to Baby Point. So I've had a fair share of experience from all locations :) As someone who went through almost 6 years of wearing braces, retainers, spacers etc early on in my childhood--I am terrified of any dental work, however, Archer Dental and their team of dentists and hygienists have made it absolutely welcoming and comfortable for me every visit since day 1! They'll also submit any claims on your behalf with insurance to speed up the process as well. Shoutout to the OGs Anna, Marianne, and now my routine hygienist Alicia & Dr Taha. Such a great team along with Dr. Archer. Highly recommend a visit at Archer Dental, as my husband as I still travel the distance (we live in Ottawa now) for our routine visits!

As they should of been, since I was paying thousands of dollars in a matter of 3 months into her business. 2 years later I am finding out just how bad the quality of her work was. Dr. Waldman never adjusted the set of my dentures to sit properly on my jaw. I am now paying again, to have a new set made as well as being in excruciating pain because of the damage done to my jawbone. Most dentures last 5 years before needing repairs, mine are being completely replaced.

I remember her saying to me "you're going to have these the rest of your life". Well, they lasted a few years - all of them. Each one fractured and needed to be replaced. In addition, she missed a little bit in the root canal and I had to have a specialist go in from the side and nip out the problem. I can't say whether or not crowns from a different lab would have made a big difference. But I can say this... dentists who aspire to give you full crowns for movie-star teeth are not looking out for your best interests. Rather than an overlay which has margins above the gumline where they get cleaned through brushing, full crowns have their margins at the gumline where flossing is necessary. I've never had any luck flossing the outside and inside of my teeth. Now the slightest of margin issue at the gumline means the trapping of food and decay working up underneath the crown. Surprise - you now need a new crown - after the tooth is removed and you have had an implant! Best of luck to those travelling this road...
