This is the only liquor store I've seen in california with this beer. I always have to go to a filipino supermarket to get those. Highly recommend this place for fellow alcohol enthusiasts.

I came across this beautiful new store while in the area today. They had a HUGE selection of wine…read moreand spirits and informed me their inventory is growing. I was amazed at how many rare bottles of liquor they carried like The Midwinter Night Dram which my family loves, so of course, I had to grab one since it is so hard to find nowadays. This store was very clean, neat, organized, and the customer service was amazing! They have a variety of snacks and a beer cave. They had mentioned that if there is a bottle of a wine or spirit you don't see in the store.. they offered to order some and stash it for me for the next time I came in! Where else can you find service like this?! This is a great addition to the area and I look forward to stopping in again!!

I've lived at Escaya Apartment Homes for the past five years, and unfortunately, my experiences at…read moreEscaya Wine & Spirits have been consistently uncomfortable. Almost every time I enter the store, an employee or cashier comes from behind the counter and follows customers around the aisles while they shop. I experienced this when the store first opened several years ago, again last year, and once more today. At this point, it feels like a regular practice rather than an isolated incident. Being followed while simply looking at items on the shelves makes me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a customer. The aisles are also roped off in a way that limits where customers can walk, with only one designated way to enter and exit the store. The overall experience feels restrictive rather than inviting. I understand that businesses have legitimate concerns about theft, but there are ways to protect a store while still making customers feel trusted and welcome. Unfortunately, my repeated experiences here have left me with the opposite impression. After living in Escaya for five years, I would much rather spend my money at a business where I feel welcomed and comfortable. Ironically, the gas station across the street offers a larger selection of many products and provides a much more welcoming customer experience. For these reasons, I will no longer be spending my money at Escaya Wine & Spirits.

So if the store's price is $1.79, but the bottle label says $1.29 and there's no sign explaining the higher price or sale conditions, that could be misleading or deceptive under state law, in violation of the price accuracy laws. California law (Code Section 12024.2 BPC: Inaccurate Pricing) also says: If a retailer posts more than one price for the same item, the store must charge the lowest of those prices unless there's a clearly posted condition (e.g., "must buy two").

pros... if you are in my neck of the woods then this would be the closest liquor store around. it…read moreis pretty new, perhaps just 2-3 months old, so it still has that 'just built' kind of feeling to it. cause the place was a car stereo/tint shop before it was magically transformed into a liquor store. the store was clean, and well lit, with wide aisles with the normal things you would find in a liquor store. so snacks, and last minute party supplies and of course liquor. the liquor here is mostly beer, but oh the selection of beer is quite impressive for the area. a couple of beers that would be unusual for this area would be the two kinds of chinese beer, qingdao, and 4 types of Samuel Adams, including the seasonal brew, some stone i.p.a. and fat tire as well. so you beer snobs out there in the ghetto have a new place to go. of course they have some other types of liquor, most of it is behind the counter. that being said that clerk behind the counter was very friendly and helpful while we were there. and the prices were pretty standard, but they are a nice touch to the neighborhood. cons... well according to my wife, the shop advertises "fine wines", which this shop didn't seem to carry. they wines were pretty NOT fine in any way. more common low priced wines. but then we are in the hood and perhaps that is what they consider "fine wines", but then my wife is a wine snob. parking lot has lots of spaces but, they are located in the busy corner, so be extra careful getting out of the space. people here are not known for their driving etiquette.
