Review #007 - 2026 This review is based strictly on their drinks since we didn't eat anything. My siblings & our kids showed up around 5:30 PM on Sunday, April 26th. We were greeted immediately upon arrival! Litchee, our cashier/bobarista was very sweet and patient while we each decided on what we wanted to try since it was our first time visiting this shop. She answered all of our questions, informatively, and didn't make us feel rushed. My brother and I decided on the avocado smoothie, since it was the only drink made with real fruit. We asked for 25% sweet and it was perfect. I'm glad that they use condensed milk versus syrup to sweeten this particular drink. We both enjoyed our drink! My daughter got the strawberry smoothie and she was pretty happy with her drink. But then again, she likes anything with sugar so it's not hard to please her. One of my nieces ordered the Tiger boba and the other ordered a banana milk tea. They both said their drinks were just ok in comparison to other boba shops. Litchee was very accommodating at making sure that the drinks were made according to our requests. We will definitely be back, if we happen to be in the area. This place is empty. No one comes here and I love this place. They make poke bowls too. The drink is $8.25 and poke bowl is $21, on the pricey side but I like it a lot. There's a mixture of music playing but Everytime I'm there, it's empty. Hope they make more business. I like them a lot though. read more

Made to order loose leaf teas! Love that they have oat milk and almond milk alternatives. Unfortunately, their fruit teas are made with syrup + fruit preservatives. I ordered a jasmine milk tea w/ almond milk. The pearls were not sweet, but they were soft and chewy. They're also slightly smaller than the standard pearl. She made my drink in under 2 minutes!! Randomly popped into this place and got a teriyaki rice bowl + vietnamese iced coffee with boba! The vietnamese iced coffee is strong the way i like it. you order from a kiosk and can specify the levels of sugar you want . it slaps hard!!!! Teriyaki bowl was filled with generous portions! The chicken was fresh. Sauce was the perfect teriyaki . you can chose which items to add on in the bowl some add one are extra $, others are free of charge . Highly recommend!!!! will be coming back for sure when i'm in Novato. Right in the shopping center so easy parking ! Staff ( Lee , the owner is super nice and welcoming ). Tried two orders of Thai Iced Tea with boba and the tea was really watered down. It should be much stronger brewed tea. I think it was made with regular milk rather than half and half or condensed milk. It had almost no flavor. I'm hoping they can improve since they're a new business. read more

Finally found a place that hits the mark consistently with each drink! I had the tiger's milk and my daughter had the "Witch's Brew" drink which is a seasonal or temporary drink. We both loved our choices. The place was cute inside and the service was super! We ordered from online and when a question popped up on our order they called us to clarify and make necessary adjustments which I appreciated. Try these guys out ...they won't disappoint! read more

Love this place! The employees are super nice and the drinks are great. Pearls are always cooked well. i've tried a few different drinks, I believe I've had the oolong milk tea, the rose cloud, the banana milk, and the purple lemonade tea. All have been delicious! I'm not someone who has ever been into banana milk or banana flavored anything, so I was a bit nervous ordering the drink, but it is absolutely delicious! So good it reminded me to write a review, lol. I always order with 50% sweetness, and it's absolutely perfect for this drink. It would be way too sweet at 100%. The building is always clean, too. They sell ramune drinks and bean paste mochis, so that's fun! I haven't tried the food, though. read more

Boba NorCal is definitely an upgrade from the previous owners and business in this location. Some of the best poke I have had in awhile. Very fresh, flavorful, with lots of gluten free options. They were also super nice about checking the spicy tuna was safe. Second time trying their boba. I went along with his recommendation of 50% for fruit tea, so theirs is sweeter than other locations. Definitely go down on sweetness of fruit teas. I'll be back, and hope they do well. Super cute mural on the wall too. read more

I didn't try the drinks, but the poke bowl was amazing! Had spicy tuna with almost all the toppings they offer and every bite was delicious. If I lived in Novato, I'd come here often, that's for sure. read more

I really wanted to like this but my jasmine tea boba was the worst. Jasmine tea didn't taste like jasmine, which is hard to do considering how floral that tea is. Also, the boba tasted like plastic. Sorry but this was really one of the worst I've personally had. read more

So, so good! The ingredients are super fresh, and I've never had a poke bowl prepared like this before -- it's my absolute favorite. I was so excited to try this place since it's hard to find good boba in Novato but sadly it did not meet our expectations. The boba was old so it was pretty chewy. The flavor of the milk tea was odd, just tasted like sugar and water. We did order a fruit tea as well and that was better. The staff was great and the atmosphere is nice but sadly we will not be returning. Almost feels like they just changed the name from what they were before. read more

I love to see people of all ages enjoying this cheerful tea shop. It is such a friendly place. Their delicious milk teas and fruit teas are just right on a warm, sunny day. Now that the cold winter weather is here, there are new hot drinks on their menu as well. Try the peppermint hot cocoa.
