We chose them for our auction in El Dorado, and they royally screwed us over. The didn't unpack anything from any boxes to put in flats, they didn't even come to go through things until the day before the auction. They let boxes of hundreds of collectible cards, comics, and diecast go for pennies on the dollar! If they had unpacked like they said they would, we would have gotten a lot more for our stuff. Then, to top it all off, they didn't bother to clean up the trash afterwards, after telling us they would. When confronted about the lack of service, we were treated rudely, and basically told "Tough crap. Deal with it." Of all the money made, we got less than half. Horrible service, lousy auctioning, and poor customer relations!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

I said the bidders will not know the reserve, so how is that? He said we won't auction it if it has a reserve. I said this is not a Wichita property, but it's a quiet, low crime established suburb with excellent schools and only blocks from the police department and downtown. Excellent schools. Location, Location, Location. I can bicycle to Wichita's largest employer so close for commuters. Rentals and homes are almost impossible to find in this town. I know I lived here 14 years. No question they cater to house flippers and slum lords that want to buy cheep and profit big. The property is not distressed, nicer than the home I live in today. Which will be marketed next year. The house was continuously rented for the last 12 years and only vacant these last 2 weeks. I'm retired and after being a landlord for 40 years, I wanted to sell out and move to a better climate. Their sales brochures say if you set a reserve and it is not reached, at the end of the auction you can negotiate with the bidders. The agent that came to the property said "NO" They wanted a slam dunk sale even if the only bid was $1.. The biggest insult is I was treated like a Kansas bumpkin. Not a degreed engineer with 40 Aerospace experience including NASA. What they advertise and what they actually do are two different things. BEWARE...You can buy from them as it's a no guarantee as it is, a as is, where is auction. But contracting to auction your property they are only interested in the fast buck- "Screw You" attitude when your behind closed doors. I'd trust "We buy Ugly Homes" more and I don't... A week after all this I had a cash offer for $10K more than my Reserve word of mouth. 90% of the auctions are in the city of Wichita. So glowing reports are about properties in high crime, low school performance, downward spiraling Wichita, not the favored suburbs. Keep that in mind.

The owner was absolutely wonderful, the staff were incredibly kind, and the facility was beautiful. And can we talk about the cute dogs? That was just an added bonus! Our goal of this review is that it would be fair and factual as to our recent custom ring…read moreexperience. My wife and I originally walked into Jewelry Savers October 4th and inquired about making a custom ring using two rings I gave her. The first was our wedding band and the second was an anniversary ring I gave her. They assured us that they could make a ring that matched the design she had provided them. The first picture is the ring desired although my wife wanted green birth stones instead of gray. The second is the first ring they produced, the last is the final ring we paid for. In November they had a wax mold ready to review prior to ring being created. We went in and the wax mold was not what my wife had asked for. We went back in to review the next wax mold, and the design was not what we had asked for but they told us that it was not possible to create what my wife wanted and this was the best it could be. Now while this was not ideal, we thought it might turn out ok and also felt our backs were against the wall as they had already removed all of the stones from our rings. What was presented as the finished product was in my wife's friends' words "a superbowl ring" My wife was in tears upon pick up. The jewels appeared smushed into the gold with no prongs visible at all. We shared we were not happy with it. At this point Monica took over - in fairness to jewelry savers they told us we would have to pay for the original ring labor as well as the new ring labor so they were upfront with us. However again - we really felt like we had no choice. My wife hated the ring and had given up both her wedding band and anniversary ring (both of which hold high emotional value) It took from October to July to produce a ring that is close to what my wife wanted from the beginning. We went in to look at it and spoke with Monica - She shared that she was disappointed in how things had worked out. I indicated we would be unable to recommend Jewelry savers based on this experience since it felt that A. We waited 9 months for a custom ring and B. We ultimately feel we were charged twice. She shared that they had been short staffed and that the first person who told us what we wanted was not possible was not employed there anymore. Clearly the ring was possible since they produced it later on. She asked for time to review with "her jeweler" to see if a discount could be provided based on our poor experience. The next day she called back and offered about 200 dollars off. Since the first ring cost 1800 that did not really seem like a company reflecting on how a customer might feel about their experience. I told her that I did not want the discount and that we would pay full price. Upon pick up she provided the discount anyway which actually made my wife upset because I had told her not to accept it so that we could leave a review accordingly. Our principle is worth more than 200 dollars. I intend to go in there next week to pay them for the remainder. Our recommendation is that you think carefully about whether or not to do a custom ring here. Ask a lot of questions because the wax mold is really not a good indicator of the finished product (at least that was our first experience). We are grateful for Monica working with my wife to produce something she really likes, however it should have happened that way the first time.
