Firstly there's a pleasure boat which slowly makes it's way around the lower slopes of the Great Orme offering the possibility of spotting seals or dolphins. The alternative is the 'Jet Boat', a high powered speed boat which whizzes around the bay at high speed. You won't get as much chance to take in the views and the trip is much shorter but it's much more exicting. The service is seasonal and only runs during the summer (and when the tide is in).

(I could well imagine having a fantastic time on the evening dinner canal trip.) Not all the seats have fantastic window views. (For example, the woman across from me was beside the wall of the boat.) But never fear, there are a lot of windows from out of which to see, just not necessarily the optimal if you are wanting to take photographs. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and friendly. Indeed, she made the experience what it was. Her name may have been Carol - blush for not remembering. She spoke at great length and was very interesting to listen to. The whole affair was approximately three hours. By the third hour, it got a bit stuffy in the boat, and your bum was a little soar. Additionally, I was facing the aft and my neck was cramping from turning around and trying to see what the guide was pointing to. They serve a wide assortment of drinks and a few light snacks. They didn't have a problem with people bringing their own, as I saw a fair few couples do just that. So, if you're in Manchester, it is a fun and different way of viewing the city. I would go again!

I crisscrossed it on my walk from the railway station and as I made my final approach around the stadium car parks there was a bunch of people crusing towards the ground in the Kittywake party boat. Decked in blue and white, Wigan's colours, with people looking out of the windows it seemed quite a party upon this boat are it crunched the top layer of ice upon the Leeds and Liverpool canal. My team Fulham play beside the river, but I havent caught a boat to a home game. It would be rather a laugh, I hope Kittywake do that all the time or the personal who had a birthday or anniversary had a great time.

It is very personal, and you can imagine the people who run it do it with a lot of passion and a lot of effort and thought goes into it all. It may well impress your other half indeed. It's very simple, you pay £33 half of which is for a 3 course meal and the other half covers the cost of the cruise. You needn't worry about the weather either the boat comes with central heating et al. Bottom line is it is not that far away yet not too close either for a short get away. Gotta mix it up a little bit haven't ya fellas? Take ya mrs here for a change of scenery. Book in advance and you're laughing. The cuisine is British as you'd expect with Roasts which are very popular. The desserts might take your fancy also with Sticky Toffee Pudding with Custard deserving a special mention.

And excellent evening cocktails. They appropriately catered to our needs and desires, found amazing anchorages, and took us snorkeling in some very unique reefs. We used all the toys - such as SUPs, kayaks and knee boards. The boat was perfect for us - and very well maintained.
