Lashund's service was exceptional and so was the food but I can't help but to feel for these employees who must stand in place all day. After spending 24 years in the military and almost 10 years as an HR professional, I find it imperative that organizations take care of their people. "How do you F up a sandwich?" Is what my friend said when I told them that I ate the worst Italian sub of my entire life this evening. Out of Italian rolls, they didn't bother to ask what kind of bread we preferred. Instead I was handed a sandwich dripping with oil and vinegar to the point the bag started to rip as I walked to my gate. I opened the sandwich and the rye (weird choice when I saw white and wheat options available) bread had actually broken off the crust and fell to the floor due to the 4 ounces of Italian dressing they put onto each slice of bread, oversaturating it to the point where it wouldn't stay intact . I hope the grease splotches come out of my pants due to all of the splashing of oil and vinegar. I never thought I'd say this but I'd rather eat the 3 day old mystery veggie wrap sitting in the back corner of a kiosk refrigerator. I wish I could give more stars! The sandwich that I ordered was perfect and tasty. They put in a nice brown bag with handles, in case you have to run for your plane. What a great concept! Food was surprisingly good. We ordered an egg and Chz croissant and a ham, egg and cheese bagel. Coffee wasn't the best but I do want to say the girls that worked Monday Dec 11th 2023 in the morning 7am, were all super helpful, nice and patient. I could have been seriously sick. I ordered a sandwich without tomatoes and made sure to emphasize it on the order. At the end when the order came the lady that took my order mentioned to the guy fixing the sandwich that I ordered it without tomatoes. I saw him literally take the tomatoes off my sandwich and started wrapping it up. I immediately informed him that I'm allergic to tomatoes and can't even have the tomato juice/seeds. I would love to leave a 5-star review because my BLTA combo was delicious, and it was a very quick stop in the busy Atlanta airport. The service was less than sub par. I ordered a simple turkey sandwich. You would have thought I ordered a four course meal. The man didn't understand anything I was saying. Keep a napkin ready for your drooling face with how AMAZINGLY GOOD this place is! I couldn't get my husband to listen to me while he was eating his sandwich from how much he boasted about his sandwich! I don't blame him, on our return flight I got myself a different sandwich from Boars cafe... and boy was he right!! SO. GOOD! Their breakfast sandwiches are just as good as lunch! Skip Wendy's and all the other big chains... give boars that extra $1-2 and TRUST ME, you'll thank me! They also have A Piece of Cake cafe connected to them on the other side... the BEST coffee in the entire airport. Literally a one stop shop kinda deal here. The staff is very quick and ACCURATE! Literally on point with everything! We were there during a busy time and the manager came to help out... they are quick! They are good! They keep good track of who's sandwich belongs to who! I did see passengers getting confused and all... but they need to keep their ear out to what they ordered be quick on their feet and keep up with the staff. Boar's Head meats have always been a fave so when I spotted a this place in the food court of Atlanta's Terminal A, it got the nod over the Qdoba burrito and the orange chicken at The omnipresent Panda Express. I ordered the Turkey Sandwich and requested a smear of delicious cranberry sauce to add just a hint of sweetness to the slices of wheat bread before piling on the pre-sliced turkey. When you are traveling through the Atlanta Airport and you get to the Food Court, you have a lot of choices. We spotted the Boar's Head Cafe and decided it should be a good place to eat as we know the meat has always been good quality. I walked up to place our order and I was greeted by a very friendly worker who welcomed me and asked how she could help. I gave her our order and in a few minutes I was handed a fresh hand made sandwich. I ordered a Turkey Club and what I got was a generous portioned, delicious sandwich. Really enjoyed the sandwich I got from here, but it was crazy busy and they only had a couple people serving the dual restaurant. I felt bad for people on a tight layover in line, so I would only recommend visiting this place at a busy time when you're not trying to rush between gates. Great food though! read more

They have pre-made selections, made to order cool and now oven toasted. Comparable to Publix subs and only $4 more for a meal with chips and a drink. I stopped in and while the sandwiches and salads in the cooler looked good (and are priced the same as the ones they make fresh), I opted to have something hot that was made to order. The "Boom Chick" is spiced turkey on a ciabatta roll with spicy mustard and crumbled blue cheese, toasted. And then they add lettuce (whole leaves, not shredded) and tomato. I watched a girl, shoulder length brown hair, carry out a cleaning bucket with soapy water and place it on the counter. With the same gloves, wipe a surface area clean of food into a different container and then use THE SAME GLOVES and start transferring fresh bread from bread bags into large Tupperware containers. same girl, same gloves, starts taking food orders and making sandwiches. After multiple attempts to fix my problem with corporate, I am now resorting to social media. Back in mid September I ordered 2 breakfast sandwich's and they were incorrect. Not even close. The service was mediocre at best. So I reached out to the number on the receipt and voiced my concerns. I was contacted by 2 separate team members that both claim that they would send me a check (I sent copy of receipt to both). I have not heard from anyone and have reached out multiple times Still no check or response. The point is that if you have a "guarantee" and you failed the customer.
