At one point in time, at over 6%...now 1%, the interest rates can't be touched. The staff genuinely care and treat customers as they should be treated. In full disclosure, I was a former employee for many years. Even now, no long an employee (and even working at another bank), I plan on keeping my main accounts here. The best part of this location is being greeted by Cherie when you walk in the door!

They require you to call them EACH TIME you wish to spend more than $1,000 and you are not allowed to spend more than $1,500 a day. After significant conversation with their management we were still unable to arrive at an agreeable solution. They would NOT give us an increased limit, and said we would ALWAYS have to call them DURING BUSINESS HOURS to ensure the charge would not be declined. I am preparing for my wedding and experienced their abysmal policy because I had the embarrassment of having a charge declined associated with my wedding. Bear in mind that if you are shopping on a Saturday and wish to buy a refrigerator or a piece of furniture, you WILL BE DECLINED if you did not clear it with them first. We decided that we do NOT need THEIR permission to spend OUR money so we closed the account. Do not do business with this bank.

The associates have always been very professional, helpful and pleasant. When you enter the lobby, someone always greats you and is willing to guide you to whatever you need to accomplish. I have been banking with them since moving to Woodstock 7 years ago and no matter what concern I have they are most patient and helpful. Love this bank.

I asked the woman where I would go to open a new account. She said have a seat, we will be with you in a few minutes. Five minutes later she passed by me, still helping another customer which I understand, but she said to me, it will be a few more minutes we are helping our clients. I know she saw my flyer and seemed disinterested in my business. I waited another 15 minutes, 20 minutes total. I decided that they should not waste their advertising dollars to get new business they really don't want. Took my deposit to Chase, I won't be banking at Harris.
