I am an extremely picky person! So, I was pleasantly surprised, and very impressed with every aspect of our experience with Blush Bridal in Lancaster! They never tried to push us in any direction, and they never tried to upsell us. What they did do, was make us feel like our wedding dress and our happiness were the only things that mattered to them. Alissa could not have been nicer, and Summer, the design person we worked with, could not have been more helpful! They made us the custom wedding dress we envisioned and stayed under our budget. Customer service is horrendous. I called and left a message to cancel an appt outside of the 48 timeframe and should have received my appointment money back. They did not answer their phone and I tried calling 6 more times on 2 separate days. No answer for any call. They finally sent an email notification that my appointment was canceled but in my message I specifically asked them to call and confirm they received the cancellation. That way I could make sure I get my money back. No phone call was returned. read more

I was here today shopping for my sister in law. Our consultant was Abbey and she was a very nice girl and was very helpful. However, one of the other consultants (A taller old woman with short grey hair) was incredibly rude to myself and the mother of the bride. We had picked out a dress and had our hands on it to show our bride and while the bride was walking over to see our dress, this rude consultant came up to us and said "Excuse me, my bride is here to shop" meanwhile there was 3 other sections of dresses that she could have started with. We then moved aside and that consultant took that very dress that I had my hands on while knowing that we were there first and wanted that dress to try on. She then proceeded to keep said dress after trying it on in their closet even after HER bride rejected it. Overall, she was extremely rude and never ended up apologizing for this interaction and it really ruined our experience here. All the dresses looked kind of the same for the most part as well so we were pretty unimpressed from the start. I would recommend going to "In White" just a few minutes down the road instead as they were more professional there! read more

I had an amazing experience here. There were a wide variety of dresses and styles to choose from, and most were very affordable. Trisha was very helpful and kind. I deeply regret going to the Bridal Emporium. I purchased a dress there and subsequently had alterations done by their seamstress, Summer. The alterations were terrible. It took 5 weeks to get my dress back (4 weeks until I was contacted and about 1 week to get schedules lined up). When I got it back it did not fit (2 weeks before my wedding)! Summer had to literally squeeze me into the dress. I complained of difficulty breathing. Summer's solution was to make a minor adjustment (moving the small top clasp). My rib cage was sore for hours after having the dress on. Long story short, I went to the bridal shop nearly every day for a week - working with the owners and the seamstress to try to obtain a reasonable fit. After 3 rounds of alterations, the dress was still not right. The owner had to have another employee assist her to even get the dress zippered. I had my fiancé come with me later the same day and he could barely get the dress closed (he commented that he was worried he was hurting me by even zippering the dress). Both the co-owner Mary Ann and the seamstress Summer told me there was nothing more they could do. It was obvious that this was not true, the dress could have been let out more. But I could not force them to do the work (and I had already paid everything in full). It was so bad that my fiancé and I immediately went to another bridal shop in Lancaster and purchased a new dress (this was about 1 week before the wedding!). They did an excellent job, and I wish I would have only worked with them. I cannot put into words the amount of stress that was caused by the Bridal Emporium (right before my wedding). The dress was not wearable and they refused to give me a refund. It was an absolutely terrible experience. I wish I had heeded a prior review that implicated Summer and the shop for poor work on alterations. read more

I went here to try on dresses this past weekend and I was so impressed with the service that I had to come here and write a review. I was surprised at how small the store was when I walked in (I see "emporium" and I think BIG) but regardless they had so many pretty dresses. I had been eyeing a dress that I had seen online a few months back and Mindy was able to pull the dress and have me try it on, along with a few others I spotted while browsing. I have to say that Mindy was the kindest and most knowledgeable person I've seen at any bridal shop. She was even able to tell my mom how each dress would be altered and how the bustle would look! The other girls in the shop were very kind and helpful to me as well, they made sure that I was happy and had what I wanted, even if they were already helping other customers. The staff is excellent with making sure everyone in the shop is well taken care of. I would recommend this shop to anyone who likes the small cozy dress shops and wants one-on-one attention. I have been to the chain stores (David's, Alfred) for friends weddings and you feel like just another bride because there are always so many people there at one time. At Bridal Emporium you feel like you are the only person in the store. 5 stars! :) read more

I had gone dress shopping with my best friend last year and Jackie was so amazing I requested her when it was time for my appointment. She was very knowledgeable about the dresses. I did not feel pressured to buy a gown which I really appreciated. She has sent me, not one, but two cards in the mail. Such a sweet person!! read more

Absolutely amazing! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I purchased my bridal gown here, and was more than pleased with the quality of product and services here. Each staff member was personable, attentive, efficient, and genuine. They are a smaller shop, so they get to know you. You don't get lost in translation as a customer... I would call to check in on an order, and they would know exactly who I was and the status of my gown and veil. They were on top of their game, and run an excellent business! Not to mention my dress was completely amazing and beautiful. I would recommend stopping by to look for a dress here.. You really won't be disappointed!! read more

I'm not sure how I got assigned to my seamstress, Summer, but that is where it all went wrong. My dress was late, and the shop gave me a fitting appointment at a time when she was already booked. Re-scheduling also took time. I didn't hear from her, and finally 1 week before the event, I emailed her to get my dress. We met at the shop, she told me it looked great and that she had to go get her kids at school. The dress wasn't great. The dress was embarrassing. The alterations cost almost as much as the dress. Due to the tone of her response, I am not going back to her to have it fixed. read more

I love this store! The owners are wonderful and will literally do anything humanly possible to make their customer's happy. We have purchased 2 prom/homecoming dresses here and I look forward to working with them on my daughter's weddings! Did I mention that their prices are fantastic as well? My wedding dress was completely ruined by their seamstress, her name is Summer. It was a nightmare. After making multiple trips to her house and each time my dress was worst, you can imagine how I felt when she admitted she messed up my dress and not to worried she was going to make me a custom dress. Being 4mths pregnant and less then a week away from leaving on my destination wedding I was hysterical when I called my mom. After getting off the phone with my mom, she called the store. Later an owner called her back assuring her that Summer was making a new dress and that there wasn't a need to buy a another dress. My dress did not even need much work done to it, it was very simple ( no beads or lace). If this lady couldnt do that right I can only imagine what this dress she was making would look like. I went to David Bridal (Harrisburg) and Thank God I found a new dress. The people there were wonderful. They were able to make alterations before I left for my wedding and only charged a rush fee of $25. Obviously I loved my original dress I bought from this store before this lady butcher it, I felt like the owner did not handle the situation after their seamstress ruined my dress and it was beyond fixable. read more
