I'm here on business and the screw fell out of my frames. I searched for the closest optometrist…read moreand found this place. It's easy to find and nearby several other optical stores. The women working the front desk greeted me. I asked if she spoke English to which she let out a big sigh and said only a little. It was quite funny. I showed her my frames and where the screw had come undone. She said no problem and promptly took them to the back. A couple minutes later she returned with them completely fixed. They had these sterilization baths for the glasses and she put them through and wiped the lenses. When I asked how much they said no charge. I know several places often do these types of things complimentary but I greatly appreciated it especially being in a foreign country and not able to speak German. I had some shopping that day so I picked up a box of chocolates and dropped them off for the staff when I was heading back. Other than the service, the place is quite large and well light. They have a wide selections of frames and sunglasses. I could see an optometrist working in the back. Seems like the place I'd go if I lived here and needed new glasses -- especially after my positive, albeit brief, experience there.
