I recently tried the spiced pear martini and WOW -- so good. For an appetizer, we always love the nachos, and this time we got the wings and the new chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was AMAZING. They recently revamped a few menu items, and this one was such a good addition. The wings are also consistently delicious every single time we come. Such a fun spot with great food and drinks. We love it here and will definitely keep coming back every time we're in Bluffton!

It was pretty good and a decent portion. Lots of stuff in it. I liked it. Server was ok. Helpful. She was waiting on a lot of tables. Plenty of parking. And like I said super cool space. They do have an area with chairs and comfy couches you can hang out. Nice place.

We were having a friendly competition with the table next to us who were NOT Patriots fans. lol. Nothing bad, just very friendly banter. After that we stopped going to watch the game there and found another bar. Fast forward to this year... We decide to give the bar another try. Heard there were new owners since we were there last. We were happy with the food, service and atmosphere. We have made it a regular stop these last two months. HOWEVER... Last night we went to grab a drink. Three of us. We sat at the bar, as we always do. The bar was NOT full and there were plenty of empty tables at the time we went in. The bartender comes over to ask what we want, and remembers our drinks, which is nice. I say... I'm not drinking but she will have her normal drink, and I point to the empty chair next to me. Again, she knows what drink and for who, and she goes to get two drinks. When she came back with the drinks she looks at me and says... So you can't just sit here and take up space at the bar.You need to order something. How about a soda? A juice? An app? Ummmmmm.... First of all... The place is half empty. Second of all... I am designated driver and NOT drinking and I do not want to pay for a soda or juice that I don't want to drink. I told her that it was rude that she wouldn't let me sit there as I've NEVER been told that before. Even when they were busy and overflowing. We always tip 30% or more and are good customers. We were going to order food but I was fuming at this point and I got up and I walked out. My fiancé and friend followed me. I understand not letting a group of people sit there if it was busy and seats were being taken up and they weren't ordering anything, but that was not the case yesterday.

One Hot Mama's was SO good! We had such a great experience!…read more For an appetizer, we got the J. Daniels wings, Strawberry Jalapeño wings, and the Jalapeño Honey Cornbread. Everything was delicious! The wings are smoked, which gives them such a good flavor, and both sauces were amazing. The cornbread was soft, moist, and full of flavor. So good! My husband had the Texas Philly with grilled chicken and mac & cheese. The chicken was tender and juicy, and that mac & cheese had some kind of Parmesan crust on top that made it even better. I had the BBQ with coleslaw and dirty rice. The BBQ and dirty rice were delicious and had a lot of flavor. The coleslaw was just okay for me, though. I probably wouldn't order it again. And I HAVE to talk about the Margarita Flight! It was AMAZING! The drinks were bigger than the average margarita flight, and every flavor tasted soooo good. Definitely worth ordering! We sat outside, and they had music playing and fans to keep the area comfortable. It was such a nice atmosphere, and the food and drinks made it even better. Overall, great food, amazing drinks, a nice atmosphere, and a really enjoyable experience! We would definitely come back!

The brisket was so heavily seasoned that I had to drink water throughout the evening, and the turkey was nearly as salty. As a catering chef who has prepared brisket myself, I have never experienced meat this over-seasoned. The salt completely overwhelmed the flavor and ruined what could have been a very enjoyable meal. After spending $44, I expected much better. I even received a call from my doctor regarding my blood pressure, which made the excessive salt especially concerning. The cooking quality was there, but the seasoning needs significant improvement.

Hi Everyone, Where…read morecan you go to enjoy lunch or diner while you and your friends play a three games of pool? Yes, this is an age old question that has tried Men's souls for over a decade, lol. The ambiance here is a bar and grill decor, you know dark, and laid back so you can relax as you enjoy your lunch or dinner. However, I do not recommend it after 7:00 PM which should cover about 70% of us Low Country patrons. Their service was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. My 16 year old Grandson who was visiting for our annual, golf, beach, fishing, and fondu diners and what ever adventure we enjoy together. You know, the visit which you have done with him and his Sister all of their lives, meaning, each year since they were born while you give their Parents a rest which they have always appreciated for a couple of weeks, or, in few years, a month. But as many of us have experienced 16 is a challenging age for almost all youth just as it was for you and I. In our day, many of us were working in the summer at that age but today, I am very happy to say, many of our Grandchildren will now rotate their friends into their summer jobs which is smart, while they are gone, and are now available for visits. But what to do that do to entertain your digital challenged linage? Some of whom only venture outside at night at 16 as they feel the extreme heat of our days can stifle even the heartiest our souls. You still want them to feel you are cool, like when you, and they were younger and you visited Ft. Jackson in Savannah, or to the Tall Ships that were docked, Putt Golf, the Kazoo factory, days trips on the Pirate Ship, The Beaufort Water Festival for everything to MoTown Monday while dancing and singing along, to Bed and Raft races, Bocce, or The Chocolate Tree or summer camp each year for a week, or for trips to St. Augustine, or Disney World. But at 16 that dog just don't hunt. So what is a cool Grandpa to do? I decided we would venture out to enjoy some fried gator (tastes like chicken), which he had never eaten before, and which were perfectly prepared. Their Burgers were delicious with an excellent taste. We had a great time together playing pool, while laughing at a few of our shots, and talking while hanging out together.. And you know, he really had a great time doing what some of the time, I enjoyed doing in my youth. So if you feel you need to revisit your youth, possibly with your next generation, or just want enjoy a leisurely meal and libation with some friends, we can recommend Tailgators Bar and Grill for some, with Grandson, or none. So stop by and give Tailgators a try as you might find, you get what you need. Enjoy!
