I would definitely come back to for a visit or to work again!

We didn't have much time to take it all in. So a repeat visit is on the books.

It would be nice if the parking was free, but I guess too many people were parking in the library lot all day and going elsewhere. I found a work carrel where I could plug in both my laptops, though it was a bit of a stretch to the power outlet (I need to start carrying a small power strip!) but quiet. I took a Zoom call or two here without disturbing anyone and still got a bunch of work emails done. Lots of books, DVDs and reference materials. Of course, you need to be a local resident to borrow any of that but anyone is allowed to use the library and the wifi is free for anyone to use. What brought me in today was simple where I live Latitude Margaritaville we get a bookmobile that visits regularly. In fact I was able to get my new library card there. Unfortunately I won't be around to return the books when they are due so I thought I would take the drive rather than pay late fees. Nice location and lots of parking. Once inside I am directed where to drop off the books on a cart. It was pretty nice inside with rows of computers and even a section to read the latest magazines. All this is great information for me as if I have any visitors this would be a great place to take them. Look forward to using their services regularly.

A friend of mine told me to go to St. Mary's community center. I called and left a message the Director called me back right away. She gave me the email and I sent in my prescription from Walmart and she said it could be up to $75.00 but I got them for $35.00. I picked out my pair when I went in and it took six weeks to get them back but for that wasn't a big deal. Five years without glasses what's another five years, right? When they came in I got them adjusted at My Eye Doctor and they were slightly irregular but they were able to fix that. I felt like there was a lot of love and care for their Clients and I cherish my new glasses that I got through the Charity. I think wealthy people and the Local Eyeglass places donate their slightly irregular frames for the Indigent Community.
