The most perfect cafe! Walked in and got seated immediately. We ordered the breakfast quesadilla and the zucchini frittata. The food came out quickly and was delicious! The zucchini frittata was nice and light and was exactly what I wanted. It came with some potatoes and perfectly buttered bread. The breakfast quesadilla had bacon egg cheese and avocado and was so good too! We didn't have any room left, but they had some delicious looking scones and coffees. Overall this is a great place for breakfast with the family. It's pretty small so it's gets busy quick which can mean longer wait time. The staff is friendly and the food is great. I personally do not like their coffee. I think it's way too strong so I end up putting a ton of milk & sugar on it to hide the bitterness but that's just me. If it's wasn't for the constant nudges and being bumped into while waiting inside for a table and even once we've been seated and the wait for a table every time we go there then I would give it four stars. My favorite is the goat cheese omelet. I get salsa on the side and it's delish! Next time I go there I'm ordering the waffles. They look amazing. read more

We love Bluestone - it is our favorite local spot. The staff is always friendly - the kind of people who ask your name and actually remember it the next time you come in. Great place to get a quick breakfast or lunch, although during peak times there is usually a wait. The place is pretty small and very popular. This place has coffee in the name so I expected the coffee to be better than the food. The coffee was good but nothing special. The food, however, was delicious! The portions are large and very tasty. Between us we tried the Spanish omelette, challah French toast and Belgium waffle kids meal. My son ate most of his food- which is unusual. The breakfast is a little pricey, but they have great options (e.g. healthier, bakery items, add ons, etc.). I came here on a busy Saturday with one other for breakfast and was seated quickly although I could see that a group may have a hard time with quick seating. So the food here is awesome. I've never had a compliant about the food or coffee or even service. What I do have a huge problem with is the space. This place is WAY too small for the amount of people that go there. You would think by now they would've expanded. The tables are too close together, everything I've been I've had to wait for a table, there's no space inside for you to wait so you better hope it's not cold or raining outside because that's where you're going to have to wait. I've been here countless times. I was here again this AM to meet with some co-workers before meeting with clients. The wifi wasn't working for me (though the fellow to my left was able to get his email), but I just happily occupied myself with the lattes. I may have had 6 of them! I always enjoy the group of writers and lawyers who meet @ the back table to discuss literature, local and world events. They contribute to the proper coffee shop atmosphere. Everything on the menu is pretty good. I recommend the oatmeal with blueberries. Today, I had the smoked salmon and eggs over easy. The OJ is worth the $3! Have been coming weekly for about 15 years, with family and friends; is a must for our returning guests who know and love the place. (We have even shipped Bluestone coffee, t-shirts and mugs to family oversees; crazy.) Food is consistently fresh, coffee is excellent (but a person would have to know coffee to know they serve great coffee) and the owner does a great job hiring local teens. In fact, one of the appealing things about the place, besides the great food, are the employees: all ages, all shades. This is a wonderful neighborhood-y place. Terrific for breakfast. Laid back & chill. No music so you can actually read your paper or have a non-distracted conversation.
