So I went back and forth on rescheduling. But I knew a part of me wanted so feel normal for a little bit. I kept my date and was excited before I got in. Once I got inside a) it's beautiful, the space just screams sexy and relax! B) the atmosphere that Karen creates there is so positive and energetic! I was starting to get excited, had my makeup done and looked amazing same with my hair! Then on to picking out the outfit an getting ready to start! Any anxiety or fear disappeared! I felt finally like the woman I had been before kids, before cancer. Karen made sure to help me look my best and feel my best with each photo. After the shoot we got to see the pictures and WOW! I have never been so happy to see my pictures taken. I felt so empowered and ready to take on the world. I hope to do it again as it's the funnest self car thing I've ever done for myself! I had a truly amazing experience with Jamie at Through the Glass Photography's studio. Jamie is so down-to-earth, friendly, and genuine... and you feel that the moment you read an email from her. I connected with Jamie right away, even through email! She does a great job explaining the process and making me feel extremely comfortable with everything, which is of utmost importance for boudoir photos and the whole experience. She gave me great ideas for outfits, shoes, accessories, etc. I arrived the morning of my photo shoot at Jamie's studio and was greeted like an old friend that she had known for years. I instantly felt at ease despite reminding myself I was about to bare almost all of it for her and her camera. She did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and I felt beautiful, sexy, and absolutely radiant that morning. Jamie gave great instruction and knew exactly how to have me pose. Even when I was getting nervous again. She guided me every step, every motion, and every pose. That guidance was invaluable. About 10 days later was my reveal when I got to see my photos for the first time in the studio. To say I was blown away would be an understatement. I couldn't believe that was me in those photos! I'm crying as I write this! Jamie is an artist in the truest sense of the word. The photos were absolutely stunning. I thought maybe I'd just want a copy of a couple of my favorites... I was so wrong. I loved them all! Thankfully Jamie has products that met my need to have them all! Haha! I am so glad I had these photos taken. I hope to do this yearly... for myself. For my first love, Me. Jamie reminded me that I am so much more than what I was seeing in myself.
