When I wasn't asked, I inquired. Showed that we indeed are, identified by NC' version of a veteran ID by the label on our driver license. We have to prove we are honorably discharged to get that. The cashier says rather curtly that Technically you have to be active. But I'll give it to you anyway.... Nope! Sign doesn't say active duty. Long story short. If your offering"Veteran Discounts". You need to honor that. I will let base know how you treated some of their ranking Veterans and treated them with such disrespect. Please fix you POS system. An eight year old is not trying to scam you for a $10 book. We are still short some money's too by the way. But don't worry you pretty head about it. We made it right. I will do my best to let the military know that Michael's in Southern Pines NC is NOT very friendly to veterans. As infrequently as we go into this particular store why would we be a member? As the project progressed, so did changes and modifications. He seemed eager and more than willing to accept the changes. Time went on, money flowed but the work diminished drastically. He didn't 100% complete any singular task. The most recent draw accompanied zero additional work completed. He received that draw and ended up on a vacation that "went a little over," so he couldn't show up until the following week. We voiced concerns numerous times which he would defend with threatening language and responses. After realizing that he was not going to meet the timeline with the diminishing days on site, we had a meeting where he walked off the project.
