if you're planning on getting your belly button pierced i would not recommend coming here. i went…read morearound lat august and they pierced it with a 16g (the piercing thats normally used for eyebrow piercings) and it was insanely crooked. the guy that did it said it was because i had a crooked belly button so i didn't think much of it. around mid october i we t to rad rooster (highly recommend) and they took a look at it and were SHOOK. they took it out and i had to wait a month to get it repierced. self made is a very nice place, and i got both of my tattoos done here and love them, but i would not recommend coming here for a belly piercing.

i've gone to self made many times for piercings, and trust me when i tell you, DONT. zack is…read morefriendly and all the staff is very nice but the minimum piercing price is $20 and that's exactly the quality you get. it is surgical steel jewelry, not titanium. nobody is allowed in the room with you when you are getting pierced (not a huge deal, but takes off points). almost every single piercing i've gotten from here has since been either taken out or has rejected. i had to take out my vertical labret piercing because it looked straight when it was marked, but during the healing process ended up being crooked. my navel was pierced with a RING (red flag) and i was not properly checked for the anatomy for this piercing (which i do not have) and was pierced anyway. eventually had to be taken out because it would not heal (because i don't have the anatomy for it.) just not a very great place at least for piercings, you get what you pay for. do not recommend
