They were on the high side in cost and I had sent an email asking some questions about the quote. They were answered promptly by a very nice customer service agent, however they still were above their competitors, and so I hired another company. That company didn't work out, and so I was on the hunt again for plumbing companies to do my job. I put Spartan back in the mix of quotes. About that time, the customer service agent emailed me asking if they could answer anything further regarding their quote. I sent a second email with a few more questions and unfortunately did repeat one question from my prior email. However I also gave new information about my setup that would affect the quote and invited them to update their quote. I also wanted to understand why they were charging over $1500 for a second man for 10 hours when none of the other 5 companies did that. I received a call from the plumber, who proceeded to berate me for asking so many questions and never letting me get a word in edgewise to clarify my concerns or position. He claimed I had sent numerous emails asking ridiculous things and he was tired of answering my questions. As noted above, I only sent two emails, the second one because I was dumb enough to reconsider this company a second time and because I had a change in my job scenario and asked for a requote. Don't consider this company unless you have something quick and simple and are in a pinch to get someone. They charge too much for a big project and are intolerant of people who vet their companies and want to understand what they are getting for their very considerable project costs.
