Best meal we had in PEI! Fresh food, fantastic service and amazing view. We really enjoyed the bar area as we were waiting for our table. 1/2 oysters and a glass of wine was glorious.

Both my husband and I had the mussels and we shared a Caesar salad. The salad was different but very good. It had bacon, which I now know is a Canadian thing. The mussels tasted good but they weren't as good as I expected. For several days after, my system was upset. Was it an allergic reaction?

Outstanding ad always. I just heard they're moving their location. Too bad, you can't beat the views and food. You must start with the seafood chowder. Amazing.

Scenic views waterfront location , fabulous oysters, delicious mussels and great lobster dip. Service was exceptional and Sam was very attentive. Overall great lunch and will definitely be back if I get to PEI again.

Food was fantastic, loved the halibut & the pecan tart is a must! Lovely to watch the ocean while enjoying incredibly fresh seafood from the area.

This is going to be epic!!!

Food and service is amazing. We go several times a year. Picturesque setting overlooking the water.

Quite possibly the best lobster I have ever eaten in my life! The waiters are all super friendly here and the vibe is just perfect with the lighting. I had a glass of white wine with the Lobster Thermidor, and I enjoyed every single bite! This meal was definitely the highlight of my trip to Prince Edward Island - a good tip is to get on the waitlist through Yelp before heading over, as it can be pretty crowded.

One of our top restaurants that we still remember from our trip this year. The weather was dismal and rainy all day, but the restaurant was absolutely charming and lifted our spirits. I loved the decor in the dining area, as it is in a large enclosed patio that is rustic and nautical. The staff are friendly and the food was amazing. After days of eating fried food, we were so grateful to find out that they don't fry their seafood here. Their pan fried haddock is batter but not deep fried, so the amazing flavors of the batter stays on the fish but isn't greasy at all. I also had the Seafood bubbly bake which was so creamy and delicious. We got a pack of their seafood seasoning to bring home so we could extend the 'visit' later. I would definitely come back to eat here again. Reservations highly recommended as they are popular with both locals and tourists alike.

Ben at the Anne of green gables bookstore told us to try Blue mussel cafe at North Rustico. Great advice. We sat at the bar in the back. Had a great view of the Harbour. Loved the bartenders. So much fun watching them multi task and put out great cocktails. Wonderful seafood bubbly !!! Perfect afternoon on PEI. Even bought a shirt which we never do.

Dined here after golfing in the area. Great service! They were able to accommodate a large group. Delicious cocktails to start. Food was fresh and flavorful. Halibut is a must. Wish I had taken a picture. Nice views and relaxed atmosphere.

Mussels...we've eaten some, tons left. Yum.

Kept coming across this, and, after biking much of the National Park, this was just down the hill, and sounded perfect. It was. Got there around 3p, so between lunch and dinner crowds. Waitress was willing to give advice, always appreciated. Ended up with mussels, classic prep. Delicious, perfectly cooked. It was a generous serving. Halibut was fresh caught that morning, and recommended by the waitress. It was amazing, like eating a perfectly cooked (fish) steak. The salad that came with it was equal to the fish with wonderful colour and a delicious dressing. This meal was a standout!

Food is always excellent and the service suberb. Be ready for a wait because there is always a line but it is worth the wait.

We couldn't go help ourselves with the salad bar during COVID but we could check off boxes of the food we wanted to try and they would bring it to us. Seafood was fresh. Salad bar was decent but not anything special. What made it special was the service. Our server went beyond what he needed to, to make sure that we were comfortable. He was friendly, likeable, fast, and kind. We actually had to hunt him to give him a generous tip because you need to pay upfront at the till for everything. And there wasn't a tip option when we paid. But he did his service above and beyond most of the people we know that serve expecting a tip. What was the was the best was another server. We have a daughter with dual diagnosis. She has Down syndrome and autism. And she doesn't enjoy eating. We got there late, and she wasn't interested in eating so she sat in the middle of the floor. It was a big restaurant with only a few people eating so we left her there. And ALL the staff instead of rolling their eyes as they walked by either waved or said hi. And then there was this lady. Who if anyone reading this knows who she is, please message me. I would like to thank properly. After she was done with her table, she put down her tray and sat and said hi to our girl and copied her movements (she rocks for comfort) and our daughter who doesn't particularly likes to be touched ended up snuggling in for a cuddle. I couldn't pay enough for this experience. And when I was wiping away tears and thanking her she kindly shrugged and said it was nothing. It was everything. And all the servers treated us as well if they served us or not or if they were being tipped or not. Go there on this principal alone.

Also their rolls and strawberry shortcake are fantastic! The only downside is the ambiance. It's super loud and generally a lot of kids. If you are looking to avoid that, go for lunch!

Today, it's grown into a huge dining hall with a polished system--but the sense of tradition is still very much alive. The setup is simple but memorable: everything is all-you-can-eat except the main course. You'll get bowls of seafood chowder, steamed mussels, salads, rolls, and dessert included with your meal. The lobster is the star, of course--I had the 1.5 lb, and it was perfectly cooked, sweet, and tender. The sides are plentiful and satisfying, but they exist to set the stage for that big plate of lobster. Expect a line before the doors open--it's part of the experience. Service is efficient and friendly, clearly well-practiced at managing the volume. This isn't fine dining, and it doesn't pretend to be. It's about tradition, community, and sharing in a piece of PEI history. Bottom line: if you're on the island, a lobster supper here is non-negotiable. It's as much a cultural event as it is a meal.

Our group ended up having to sit separately because the waitress was concerned about not being able to walk around a larger table, which seemed unfounded and a concern that was waitress centered rather than customer centered. When asked about closing a window because cold air was affecting some in our party, same waitress said it was not possible because the kitchen needed the air... Well... five minutes later, the customers that took the table near the window simply closed the window to avoid the cold wind... Two for two! Not a great beginning. Ordered seafood chowder and fish and chips. What would you expect? Yes... seafood chowder is served first and once customers are done with it ... you bring the fish and chips. Logical, right? Not here. They brought everything together, which meant the fish and chips got cold while we had the chowder. Third strike... Anything else? Let me say this, the fried fish, in my opinion, was not great. First, you could taste "stale" oil (old oil). This alone turned me off. Second, there was little fish and a lot of breading, I'd say 70% breading 30% fish. So, if you combine oil taste with very thick breading you get what I got. To eat the fish I had to take the breading apart. On a positive note, the seafood chowder was excellent. As Luc B. review pointed out, it is a very basic family and kid friendly setting.
