First time visiting Blue and I will say that during our stay we chose to eat here twice. A nice little place with seating outside and inside. A cute place. Sat inside during one visit due to it being full outside. As for service: we talked to one of the owners and she was so nice and we all enjoyed the story of Blue and a little about her and the family. The wait staff were also very friendly. Now meals: Yum. We all loved our meals both times we visited. But I have to say the flavor of the Trisha Tacos was outstanding. In fact during our second visit a couple of us chose the Trisha Taco over our first visit meals. But again all meals were good. As for our drinks: Both the mojitos and mezcalita's we let just okay. Just didn't have a great flavor. Not sure what the bartender did. Now a small buyer beware warning. We didn't realize the But 1 Get 1 was not combined. Meaning we bought 4 drinks the first round - but we paid for all 4 drinks, not just 2 as the deal suggests. You have to get a completely second round to get the discount. It was kinda misleading and I think that's intentional. So I do absolutely recommend this place for food but give you that warning for drinks. But still a solid 4 star joint. read more

We went because yelp had this place as 4.7. The place is very small. The food was not very good. We didn't eat most of it. I got beef fajita tacos and husband got chicken fajita tacos. They looked the same as mine and both tasted like they were cooked in barbecue sauce. The ceviche was just medium pieces of raw shrimp, cucumber and onion with avacado on top. read more

Got back to town after center trip a little later than I expected so decided to eat (& drink) close to the Airbnb where I was staying. 2x 99 peso margaritas They were very good. Live music each night tonight was two ( they play every Wednesday) highly recommend they starting at 7 pm. Had two beef fajitas and two shrimp fajitas along with a spicy tuna (cold) Service was a little slow but that is the wAy things are here. Amazing! Great food and margaritas. I'm going back again this week. One of the places on our list of to-dos.

When one of the people I was traveling with suggested this spot, I was skeptical because it looked too flashy and I was not so sure. However, by the time we were eating, I had to conceded that she had made a fantastic pick and probably one of my favorite meals of my trip. Blue Morelos has a fantastic tostada selection made with a lot of fresh ingredients. Our table ordered a wide selection of them along with some mojitos (also very very good). My favorite was the Guero - one of the hot tostadas - that had a fantastic array of flavors. I also enjoyed my ceviche de pescado one. There seemed to be about 80% outdoor, shaded seating which was perfect for the day we were eating here. The only thing to note is that the food take a little time to prepare as everything is done to order so do yourself a favor and bring a snack if you come here starving hungry. That said, well worth the stop. I would come back and I suggest you eat here too. read more

My bottle of water was the best part of our order. Tuna tostada was way too salty. Tacos gobernador were too wet to pick up and weren't tasty. We stopped for lunch because it was so crowded when we walked by the night before. Maybe it's a fun place for drinks in the evening. read more

Super cute spot! Tacos and ceviche were delicious and fresh. Tacos are not typical tacos (atleast what I was expecting to have in Mexico). We ordered one that had an Italian tasting red sauce, which was really good! Service was great, just a bit slow .... although I think that's common for a beach town. Good find a block from the beach in Puerto Morales. Tostada was divine with incredible flavor and perfectly cooked shrimp. Probably the best shrimp I've had the entire trip to Mexico. Drinks were okay...only reason for 4 stars versus 5. Quaint small restaurant. Would definitely return. read more

Good happy hour Margarita. Need I say more. Cool outdoor seating. Off main busy streets. Quiet. Good place to chill in the afternoon. The shrimp ceviche here is the best ceviche I have ever had in my life. Be sure to tell them about any food allergies because their menu is terse, not very descriptive. I ordered a fish taco- which typically does not come with cheese or a flour tortilla but this one did. I had to send it back since I am allergic to dairy and gluten... they brought me another one on a corn tortilla, but still melted cheese into it. I couldn't eat that, so my boyfriend ate it for me so as not to have to send it back again or waste it. He said it was pretty gross. The tuna carnitas was delicious! Order that and the ceviche and you should be pretty happy here. read more

Terrific place to stop in Puerto Morelos. You want to eat here. Mostly quick food; tostadas, tacos, ceviche and the like. We had some of everything. All delicious and very fresh. Drinks we're great. I noticed this new little restaurant walking around Puerto Morelos. Stopped in for a quick dinner. Tostadas with tuna and a Dos Equis, for 70 pesos! Good deal! Owner was a nice guy. We wanted tostadas, and this place seemed to have the best variety for our group. The dining area is pretty basic, with a lot of outdoor seating, which is typical of PM restaurants. It was mid afternoon when we were there, so it was slow, as in we were the only party in there. I don't recall the tostadas we had, but they were all very good; well prepared, fresh, creative, and down right delicious. 2 in my party had margaritas, and reported they were the BEST EVER. One person in our group had the fish fajita, which was not very good...fish was a little on the fishy side. We would have loved to return to try the ceviche or breakfast (we heard the chilaquiles were great), but we ran out of days on our vacation!! read more

Tostadas are interesting and have very good quality raw and seared fish and seafood. And they give you a good amount of fish. Drinks are beers and margaritas on the rocks. Lovely atmosphere and had a live Spanish Spanish guitarist while I was there. Only reason it is not 5 stars is that I wish the tostadas had more vegetables to balance out the fish. read more

What a great find very close (north 2 blocks) to the zocalo but unlike most places in the vicinity there is light traffic so you don't have to breathe car or diesel fumes while you eat. I had two (octopus and shrimp)cold tostadas the first time and then two hot tostadas (fish and mixed seafood) the second time and all were VERY good! I mean, talk about it/tell friends about it good! A delicious blend of flavors in each and a garlic olive oil sauce with roasted chiles in it wows those first-timers like me. This is unique food and somebody in there knows their way around that kitchen. Plus, you can eat as much or as little as you like. read more
