With the advent of Bluetooth speakers, the pools are no longer relaxing. In regards to the pools, I've also noticed large groups forcing other guests out, by way of loud music, and actually encroaching on their personal space. Excessive noise after quiet hour was also an issue. The park staff has had to deal with disrespectful and aggressive guests while trying to do their jobs with no repercussions. We weren't in an RV but had our boat and camped out which was an exception they made for us. We paid 2 nights and ended up staying 1 night and even gave up our refund for the 2nd night due to the inconvenience and harassment we received from the owner. He brought his dogs to intimidate our dog the 3rd time he harassed us. Came to our camp site 3 times in 1 night and the following morning to complain about our vehicles and anything he could complain about. 1 vehicle was parked incorrectly but wasn't addressed and when it was , the vehicle was moved the first time. We left our site early and will not come return nor recommend this site to family nor friends. First approach was " what are you all doing here." Yes it was an RV park and they allowed the boat to be parked but you come up so aggressive after you made the exception?? No need for that. We weren't drunk nor obnoxious- just here to fish. He wasn't enforcing park rules just plain rude! We are not aggressive nor obnoxious people. Keep our extra day but we will never come back. We definitely felt uninvited and uncomfortable. Don't run a business if you aren't friendly and offer good customer service. Thanks but no thanks- an owner will lie to rectify a customer service review to justify his actions. No fishing/rv buddies will stay here nor will we recommend this place.

The guy who answered wasn't used to people driving a far way for a quick stop so it seemed so he was a little flustered or surprised by our call. We are headed to South Padre Island and it's still over 3 hours away. We came from Colorado so we hauled some major butt to get to the coast. Super excited to see palm trees and ocean in the morning. I didn't give it 5 stars because we were never given the WIFI and the guy seemed surprised we came so late even when I told them that when I reserved my site online. We did get full hook up so that was nice.
