It was so easy to make friends and socialize, especially with the walking tours and hostel dinners. I've had bad experiences with party hostels but still wanted to be social, so this was a good balance of a social hostel that was not too party-centric. The room was very clean with huge drawers under the bed and a small cupboard by the head of each bed. My regular lock didn't fit in the drawer lock, so you need a skinny padlock. It was sometimes difficult to share one en-suite sink, shower, and toilet with five other girls, but I'm glad they were each separate from each other. The wifi was very weak from my bed, so I had to walk towards the inside of the room or go to the common area for internet. The common area was great for working and virtual meetings. There is a small rooftop with a bar and tiny pool. They have nice computers in the lobby you can use. The hostel is in a great location. It is a 15-minute walk to La Sagrada Familia and to Casa Batllo (opposite direction). They have daily walking tours that are very informative and rely on tips. Breakfast is buffet-style and a little pricey at 7€. The dinners are delicious and only 12€. They are three-course meals with two free drinks (sangria or beer). The night tours are 15€ and take you to two bars then a club. They include club entry and three free shots.

The location was perfect - walking distance to anything you could want from cafes and public transportation to tourists sites like La Sagrada and other Gaudi architecture. We stayed in a 4-bunk room with it's own bathroom. The bunks had little cubbies to place small things like your phone or glasses at night. And there was storage beneath for luggage. I liked the layout of the kitchen - tables around the perimeter and at the center was where communal dinners were made/served. We tried the paella but weren't blown away. The sangria on the other hand - who knew the boxed stuff tasted so good! There's even a shared refrigerator where you can store food or chill wine (be sure to label your items). We even partook in a night out with others staying at the hostel. It was nice to meet people, and enjoy a night out at 3 local bars that we might not have visited otherwise. The location alone is worth it, not to mention the price and cleanliness.

Got the steak tartare which was adequate but did not taste much of anything other than egg yolk and salt. It said the item came with fries so for 17 euros I actually expected a real portion of fries since potatoes are cheap. The dish was mostly meat to my surprise with a side of potato sticks and 2 crackers. Not sure what to do with the sticks since you cant use it to scoop or pair with the beef tartare anyways. Overall was disappointing to say the least. Will not come back but many people will wander off to the streets as it is on a main street i am sure.

It is located in a central area of Barcelona. They have various events, such as Paella making demonstration and daily walking tours (unfortunately, both were cancelled due to not enough people signing up, so make sure to have a plan B should that happen). When I checked in, I got my key card and went to the room I was assigned to. This was my first time staying in a hostel, and I was assigned a top bunk, but the bed was not made and it seemed like someone was staying there. Therefore, I decided to just settle in the bottom bunk. The next day, someone else checked in and went to the top bunk, and he told me that he was assigned to the bottom bunk. It seemed like this mixup had been going on for a little bit where the top/bottom bunk people were switched. I brought this up to the front desk, and the lady was very annoyed. She explained to me, very rudely, that they have a strict system and that we should be in our assigned bunk, and to switch my key card with the other person. I thought this was reasonable, but I never ran into the other person again: being that I slept early and he probably came back to the hostel late and checked out early. The next day, someone else checked in and asked the same question as me to the front desk. The lady was furious with me. On the staircase of the hostel with people going back and forth, she was yelling at me, saying "This is all your fault! I told you to switch spots with the last guy. This is all your fault!" I explained the whole situation as I had here. I sure as hell wasn't going to wait up all night for the other guy to get back from wherever he went just to switch the key card with him, that should be the job of the hostel staff. She wouldn't listen to my explanation at all, and it didn't seem like she was scolding me with purpose. She just kept on saying "this is all your fault:" what is the point of that? I'm not the hostel staff, and these things happen. This was a tan lady with long hair: there was a guy from the UK working and a girl with buzz-cut working, who were all very chill and nice. If it weren't for this isolated situation, I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This hostel is great for solo travelers, I feel like you can meet a lot of people. Great location, within walking distance to the bus station and there's a bunch of good food and bars nearby. Didn't get to have dinner here but I appreciated the breakfast they offered. They have a lot of cool amenities in my opinion! Even computers and a pool table and cheap alcohol.

It's so easy to get to and it's right in the heart of Placa Reial off of Las Ramblas. It really is the perfect location. The windows of the common area face the Placa so I was also able to see the street performances. The hostel itself is clean, as are the bathrooms (very important)! Free wifi, free breakfast, and free dinner (on a first come, first serve basis). Staff were friendly for the most part. All the rooms had secured lockers for your belongings. The rooftop bar makes the best sangria I've ever had, and only for 3 euros! It was a little confusing to me at first because you have to buy a drink ticket at the ticket machine and then use that at the bar. The rooftop bar is also where you will meet up if you want to join the bar crawl - which I did! I had the best time with many thanks to our great host, Melissa. My initial intention was to give it 5 stars but the following instances took it down to 4: 1. I personally booked a 4-person room for my group of 3. Upon check-in, we were informed that it wasn't possible to put us all in one room on the first night and that we would have to be separated into 2 and 1. If I booked 3 beds together, I would naturally expect us to all be in one room. I would've appreciated prior notice if it wasn't possible. They were able to change our rooms and put us together for our 2nd and 3rd night. 2. One of our lockers in the room wasn't working. It was fixed but broke again at some point and the technician had to come look at it again (that's twice in one day).

The hostel was really clean, there was no noise disturbance at night (except my mates snoring) and I always felt safe in my room. HOWEVER I did come across a man as I was checking who was claiming things had been stolen from him. This is always a worry with sharing with strangers but the security measures were adequate, its the guests who tend not to use them properly. Other than that though I found this place really good and I met a lot of interesting people in the bar. They also sell alcohol here for a good price and there are cans of lager in the vending machine so you can drink 24/7 if thats what you want! Another good thing is there are busy bar streets from the hostel to the city centre so you dont have to go anywhere dodgy. Stick to these touristy streets though as there was one night my friend and me stumbled across an intimidating hooker lined street. If you dont want to stray far from the hostel at night, there is a fab bar just around the corner with beer taps on every table so you can drink away and pay the tab at the end. This bar also does fantastic food and I would recommend the burgers, I had the club burger twice (disgusting when you see it!) and its so big you cant get it all in your mouth!

Bathrooms were relatively clean, although shower stalls were a bit small to maneuver around. The bar on the main floor was great. It cost only about 2 euros for a beer and 3 euros for a sangria. They also offered free breakfast every day consisting of bread, cereal, and muffins, along side some coffee and juice. The vibe was great though. Everyone was really friendly from the staff to the others staying, which made it a lot of fun to venture off to the pub crawls together. The front desk was also super convenient. You can get a sim card there, tickets to Parc Guelle and Sagrada Familia (a much need as you can't get in without advance tickets), as well as rentable beach towels. Overall, place is good for young travellers and worth staying.

Near a lot of tourist attractions and a lot of day tours start nearby as well. Area is always busy with people, so I always felt safe even at night. I'll save the biggest problem for last, but my sole goal of coming to this place was to get at…read moreleast some sleep after a midnight flight getting me to St Christopher's Inn at 3:30AM, and there were obstacles. The guy at the desk told me check-out is at 8AM, which cost me sleep time fact-checking his telling me that I'd only get about four hours sleep (actually, check-out is at 11 like everywhere else, but this foreshadows that the front desk is inexperienced and unreliable). The room smelled like feet, such that I slept breathing through a face mask. There was a constant hum, such that I had to sleep with ear plugs. There are four bunks connected, and when one person shifts, they all rock together, and I had bad luck with somebody on the other side of the partition who was not finding the right position. (Of course, she had to contend with people like me who show up at 3AM, who try to be quiet as possible but still have to haul themselves into bed.) This is by no means my first hostel, I know what to expect, but this one rated badly on the things that matter for sleep, like ventilation, noise, and bed quality. The biggest problem, though, was that my reservation wasn't marked for the right night. I'd requested that it be changed months ago, and was vigorously assured then that the change was made, but it got lost in the system. The guy who checked me in late at night was peevish about having to rebook me (cutting into my sleep time), and the manager I spoke to about it during the day, "Kelly", well, I just feel bad for her. In our extensive discussion of the long paper trail I showed her, it came out that (1) all conversations with front desk staff (including via web chat) are not deemed reliable, (2) there is a bot that pre-routes messages and sometimes marks them as cleared without passing them on to a human, and (3) I won't get a refund for their failure to correct the reservation three months earlier because the paper trail I'd shown her repeatedly refers to the corrected date, but is not complete to her satisfaction, due to known problems #1 and #2. I can tell that every day Kelly has to explain to somebody whose reservation is borked that the system is flawed and everybody knows it, but her job is to strictly enforce the terms and conditions of her employer. It has to be a hard job that wears on her soul. The best way you can help Kelly is to not deal with the reservation system at all and book somewhere else.

This starts Review #1 for Summer of 2013 in Spain. I was online at some Hostel booking place and saw this place. The place looked spectacular online as well as the reviews from there were pretty good so I went in and got the spot. 2.) What your eyes may see: It's Spain, so you're always going to get that very traditional feel. A lot of antiquity, but still kept in mint condition. The elevator was very fascinating. A kind of sliding metal door like you'd see in those artsy type buildings, but then an inner elevator door that resembled much like a cabinet type door. Inside this place was kept immaculate. It definitely is more of an apartment floor than a hostel. You would feel right at home, or, at least as a guest in someone's house. There are two bathrooms - a main bathroom that has a washer/dryer and secondary bathroom that is without one. The dining room is nice - well stocked liquor cabinet, antique yet upscale looking furniture (sorry, I like saying antique after the maintenance man kept saying the word "antiquo" which means antique). There are about 6 rooms on the floor I am on. The bathroom is not necessarily locked and can be shared, which could make some people a little uncomfortable. The floor itself is pretty intimate, where you can walk out of your room and into the dining room you can find a bunch of strangers eating and laughing at the dinner table. 3.) Staff: Very friendly people. I got to sit down, share some laughs and talk to Billy, the guesthouse owner, who is originally from Los Angeles California. Very nice and helpful people I must reiterate. I feel at home when I am here. 4.) Impressions: I got to meet some other Americans who were here. Good to know it's not just rowdy teenage or college kids coming here. Seems to be a nice eclectic crowd of people who come here.

The decor is lovely and charming in the best way possible. The location is really good near transportation and the city center. Everything is very clean. I will forever tell this story when I meet hostel guests in Barcelona not to go to this hostel…read more I am writing this with deep disappointment and frustration after what happened during my most recent stay at Onefam Les Corts Hostel in Barcelona. I had stayed here before and genuinely enjoyed the friendly community, so I booked again in the summer of 2025 expecting a similar experience. Instead, it turned into one of the worst travel experiences of my life. On the night of July 20, I returned to my shared room and immediately noticed something was wrong -- my bed had been moved. I checked my belongings and realized that several important items were missing, including my passport, travel documents, and credit cards. I had intentionally left these in the hostel thinking they would be safer there than carrying them around the city. Sadly, I was wrong. I soon learned that I wasn't the only victim. Several other guests were robbed the same night. One guest told me they had lost over $4,000 USD in cash and valuables. This was not an isolated incident -- it was clear that multiple rooms had been targeted, which makes the hostel's lack of security even more unacceptable. The hostel's security measures are shockingly inadequate for a city known for its rising petty crime. There is no on-site security guard. Entry is controlled only by a keypad at the front door and key cards for the rooms -- both of which clearly failed that night. The absence of basic, reliable security systems (such as comprehensive CCTV coverage and proper lock mechanisms) is alarming. What made matters worse was the complete lack of preparedness from the staff. When I reported the robbery to the front desk, the woman working there was polite but clearly untrained for such a serious situation. She didn't call the police -- I had to call them myself. When the police arrived, she didn't know how to retrieve or review the security camera footage. This is a clear sign that the hostel has not provided its staff with the necessary training or protocols for emergencies. After the incident, the manager sent me an email apologizing. I replied requesting the security footage for my case, but to this day I have received no response. This lack of follow-up and cooperation further demonstrates negligence and a lack of accountability. Based on my experience, I believe this hostel does not prioritize the safety of its guests. They appear more focused on maintaining a "laid-back" atmosphere than implementing the most basic security measures or training staff to handle emergencies. This negligence created an environment where thieves could operate freely and leave multiple guests devastated. It is unfortunate that I have to write this review, but I feel a strong responsibility to warn others. I now tell every traveler I meet -- both online and in person -- to avoid Onefam Les Corts Hostel. Barcelona is already a city where you must be cautious about theft, and staying here will only make you more vulnerable. Choose accommodation that values your safety, because this place absolutely does not.

It's also walkable to several points of interest, like La Sagrada Familia. In terms of hostel atmosphere, it's definitely a more lively/"party" oriented hostel. There are nightly dinners where you can meet other travelers, and a pub crawl afterwards. Most people staying in this hostel are on the younger side (early to late 20s) and the hostel draws a social crowd. Expect the hostel to be noisy until midnight, or even later on weekend nights. This is definitely not a calm/quiet hostel, so don't stay here if that's what you're looking for. It's worth nothing that the bunks do have locks, but there are no curtains. The hostel also neighbors metro lines, so you will feel the rumble of the metro until the lines stop running at night.

After dinner, you're more than welcome to join in on a bar crawl -- where you pay a one-time charge of 15 euros and get access to 2 bars (1 free shot) and 1 club -- and this is valid for as long as you're staying at the hostel. WHAATT? Crazy. I went out one night and ended up going to a bar called Marula with live jazz music and the funk & soul was real. (Really recommend that bar if you're in the area). Living situation was very comfortable -- bunk beds were just the right size, showers were plenty & really spacious, mixed male/female bathroom stalls, a patio, kitchen, and a quaint room for jamming out. Location is stellar. Such an easy walk to almost all attractions, like about a 20 minutes from La Sagrada Familia, 15 minutes from Casa Batllo, 35 minutes from Park Guell. I'd recommend walking around and get lost anyways since the gothic architecture is such a beautiful sight. Stop by cafes along the way -- almost every store has a desayuno "breakfast" deal (like around 2,50 for a croissant + cafe with milk). Love this hostel muchooooo. Currently in my Madrid's hostel typing this review and am seriously missing 360 Hostel :'(
