He started the job on a Monday and it still wasn't complete by Sat. We did ask him he hold off on Friday so we could have some painting done. We told him id this would hold him up too much we would wait on the painting. He agreed to holding off on Friday and said I would work all day Sat & Sun to get the job done by Monday. He also requested 1/2 the money be paid since we asked for a day off And we paid. Garry showed up Saturday later than the agreed upon time. He worked for a few hours but made little progress on the instillation. On Sunday Garry didn't show up. He didn't even have the decency to call. He sent my husband and text saying "I'm not coming today, I have to be there for my family". When we asked what time he would arrive Monday, he never replied. On Monday he just arrived to the house around 9:30am with out confirming the time so no one was home. We let him in remotely because at this point we just want the job to be completed. I arrived home about 10:45am to find Garry asleep on the dinning room floor and he reeked horribly of liquor. I had to bang on the walls to wake him up. Once he got up. He said he wasn't sleep and began talking incoherently. Garry began to argue with me. His helper had to step in and correct him because he was mixing the days of the week up. After the dispute. Garry states he would work until 5pm to get the job done. I no longer feel comfortable with being in my home alone so I made some phone calls to rearrange my schedule. As I'm on the phone, Garry throws his tools on the truck and pulls off, nearly running me over. Either me nor my husband have heard from Garry. He walked out on the job because I confronted him about being intoxicate and sleep . Please review pictures.

A rare story. Jessie Vasquez Masonry…read more I was looking for a stonemason. I called Jessie who was a total stranger to me. I told him what I wanted him to do. He took that into consideration and encouraged me what I needed to do. So happy I considered his years of experience and went with his plan. He gave me a fair price on a hand shake. He said he would be there Monday at 8:00 am, He was there at 7:30. I was surprised when he didn't ask for half down and half when the job was finished. This man has passed his life skill set down to his two sons and when they were done the stonework looked absolutely amazing! I normally don't give reviews but this was definitely worth noting. Yes

He was kind enough to secured my storm door, patched a small hole in the wall and gave sound advice on other items that required fixing which was all unplanned & unscheduled. Mr. Brown kept me informed of his estimated arrival time, quoted me a reasonable price on the same day of inquiry (in-fact, it was 20mins after I had got off the phone with him), and arrived in a timely fashion (earlier than what was expected). Knocked the job right out! I highly recommend choosing Trim Jim Construction. I am pleased with his work and customer service. I would definitely use his services again in the future.

He said he would power wash our playground but showed up with no equipment and and started using my equipment (which is not for powerwashing!!!). He said he needed a down payment to buy some items, we gave him the money and he never purchased any items. To add insult to injury he did not complete the job, he took apart some pieces and left them on the floor and he took some of our equipment home. Do not use this contractor. He is extremely unprofessional! He also does not have his address listed so if you want to take him to small claims court you may have to hire a private investigator to find him!

During the second visit, I stopped asking for cost, just gave a to do list then paid with CashApp when done. Subsequent jobs it was hard to get a response as to day/time. Although he seemed nice at first, after the first visit, felt like he was annoyed by me or something. I brushed it off as resting b-face but then communication became harder. He gave an excuse of phone issues but it seemed to ding and dong when he was here. For today's list I pushed and prodded to get a day/time. I did say that I would be home all day in order to work around his schedule. He said arrival 9:30-10am. Great, errands popped up but I moved somethings around to accommodate his arrival. Well after no show/no call, he rings me at 11:50 to say 12:30-ish. At this point I'm done. Getting a response and day/time commitments wore me out. Why am I chasing behind someone to work? My lists are like $500 each and are less than 8 hours of work. Sadly the professionalism that we started with crumbled and died a slow death.

He was very clever at figuring out why some old door knobs weren't working, knobs that they don't make anymore so I would have had to replace the entire doors without his work. He did an excellent job installing some new lights and doing some heavy lifting to repair a china closet. His prices were very reasonable and the work was completed at exactly the estimate.
