The wine was reasonably priced and averagely drinkable for a Tempranillo. Starter: Frittierte oliven-schafskäse kugeln (deep fried balls filled with sheep's cheese and olives on top a spicy tomato chutney). The fritters were perfectly smooth and crumbly on the inside and extremely flavorful and well paired with the tomato sauce which was full of flavor rather than spicy. 3 fritters were served alongside two pieces of bread which was also very good. The bread had a nice crust, but was dense and soft. The bread was hearty and seemed to be made with good quality ingredients (not just white flour). Pizza: Formaggio e pesca (goat cream cheese, glazed peaches, roasted nuts, and honey). The pizza was everything I expected! It was an intriguing combination on the menu and the combination did not disappoint! I might even try to recreate it at home.

They also have a nice terrace outside for sunny days. The Burger I had (with chili con carne and cheese) wasn´t easy to eat and I had to resort to using fork and knife, but it was quite tasty. As was the home made Lemonade. The Highlight for me though were the sweet-potato fries - those were excellent. Value for money was exceptionally good. The "Chili-cheese" Burger should be named differently though to avoid confusion. "Chili-cheese" usually refers to a cheese-sauce with chili in it - not chili con carne with cheese. But that´s a minor complaint about a small detail over a very nice lunch @ Hochstapler.
