Our daughter has attended Blue Fox since she was three years old. We have attended the parent-child classes and Forest K drop off program. The property is serene and peaceful, the school house is enchanting! We obviously love everything about the program, if your considering it - go out and visit for the day! The owner, Ms. Megan, interacts in a kind and gentle way with all her students. I would sum it up as a place for children to learn to love, respect and play in nature! read more

Blue Fox Farm is home to the only Waldorf inspired forest kindergarten program in mid-Missouri. We advocate for nature-based education for all children on our small, diversified family farm located 12 miles south of Columbia. Our goal is to increase connection to the natural world in order to cultivate compassion and empathy for the earth and all its inhabitants. We do this by creating a kind and safe environment, utilizing age appropriate risk and adventure, and modeling and fostering respect for self and for others at all times. We currently offer programs for children ages 0 to six.
