I've been coming here for years and refer all my friends. It has gotten so much busier since they first opened and the parking lot is super packed all the time. Roy is my go-to guy for nails and designs he is so great at executing any photo of inspo I bring in. I've been coming to Blue Diamond Nails since nov of last year trying and I wanna say, yesterday was my best experience yet. I didn't have an appt but they were able to get me seated in less than 5 mins of walking in (it was around 5:00pm Friday) I asked for a acrylic full set as well as a deluxe pedi (total was about $140) I was seated with Ari and she was so nice and gentle and asked if I needed anything before starting. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did just that. Down to the color and shape. I am so happy with how my nails turned out. Prior to coming in, my toes were looking really rough and I asked if she could fix my chipped big toe with acrylic and I'm just so blown away by her work. My sons had baseball games on this side of town. We had a 2 hour break so I decided to get a pedicure instead of driving back 40 minutes to the north end and back. This place had good yelp ratings so decided to try it out. I got the gel pedicure which was supposed to come with hot towels & hot stone massage. Well... I didn't get the hot towels and I didn't get the stone massage. The nail tech seemed to be rushing. He was friendly, but just didn't seem to take his time to provide a good service. I was provided plenty of colors to choose from. The guy who worked on me was really quick. He did a fantastic job with my cuticles and heel. I felt rushed on the polish and it shows bc he polished some of my finger. I wish he had clean it up a bit. But overall he did a really good job and I was happy! What I asked for and what I got... not even close !!! Experience was terrible.. made my appointment for a gel X fill.. My appointment started and the guy started to removing my nails completely. I asked why and was told we don't do fills here. I wasn't told that over the phone and the list of services on their website and on yelp say nail fill in services. So that's bullshit.. he then started painting my nails without asking me if the pink that I DID NOT pick out was good. After first layer I had to tell him I would like a color more pink where he then switched colors for me. After color was done he started placing the flowers. As he was placing them they were falling apart due to the technique and how he was placing them. It looks like I dipped my finger in confetti. It was so bad I said forget it, just do one finger and be done please. Finally finished with the shit show so I thought.. went to check out flipped my fingers over and there was major gaps between my natural nail and the gel X tip they had to place. My existing gel X tips were just fine and didn't have this issue, now I have this issue . I paid $98 for everything I didn't ask for and left very frustrated. My appt with Roy was at 10 am this past Saturday (his first appointment of the day),and I booked it for Gel-X with design (75 mins). They took me back to his chair at 10 AM. Roy did not come to start on me til 10:09 (late, which ok that's fine as long as I get my nails done right and he doesn't rush). Well, he rushed and the simple bow design I wanted did not turn out like the inspo pic. Sadly his lines were too thick on the bows and overall sloppy. He said it was because I wanted it in 3D, but at the start of the appt the only thing I wanted in 3D was the leaves. He suggested he could do the bow in 3D as well, so I said OK. If doing 3D was going to mess up the lines of the bow then why didn't he say something to me beforehand. Super frustrating, especially for him to blame me as the customer. Unacceptable. He finished with my nails at 11:14, and did not even apply any cuticle oil or lotion. So I left with my hands looking super dry and ashy. Also unacceptable. I filled out their survey that they sent, then I got an automated text from the salon saying to call or text the owner (Mike) to explain my complaint. I called him and to make matters worse he basically was defending his employee saying he's a very hard worker and that it's a fine line between making customers happy etc., but he did say for me to send him my inspiration pic along with pic of how my nails turned out and tell him my availability b/c he wanted my nails to look right for the holidays, which I really appreciated. I proceeded to text him those things, but he NEVER responded. That is not how you should treat your customers. Once again, Unacceptable. My very first gel X manicure with Roy was amazing, but then it was never amazing after that. And this last one was it for me. I will NOT be recommending the salon to anyone anymore. read more

I came in as a walk in today, I wanted to get the $95 cpd pedicure however I was informed I could not since it would pass there close time of 7. It went down hill from there though; I was offered the 60 minute pedicure, I believe the sunshine however it was rushed through, during the message time couldn't even feel the pressure, my nails where cut shorted then asked; even after confirming and the hot stone and hot towel only lasted 3 min max each It was not worth the price, I didn't feel relaxed at all when I left and wasted my money Also it's 630 and clients are still coming in getting pedicures. I was the only one who was told no; How can someone come in at 630 and get a 60 minute pedicure if they close at 7 I gave 2 stars due to the polish job, it was fantastic read more

I visited BDNS for the first time this past weekend. Sadly, my regular salon was fully booked, so I took a chance to see if they could take me here. To my surprise, the lady got me in for a pedicure within 30 mins of when I called! I was very happy. The parking lot could get filled quickly due to the businesses all around, I ended up having to park in a dirt lot. The service was great, the lady (did not catch her name) went right to work and did a great job. I was offered water when I sat down. It was REALLY, REALLY busy and loud. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place, this may not be it. I did enjoy the type of music they played, more of a chill EDM. It is quite the nail factory, I was getting anxiety of the amount of people coming in- but they seemed to handle it well! I did not see anywhere a selection for just regular nail polish (to choose colors)- I ended up just choosing white. read more

Mediocre experience, Subpar work and service. I came in on a Saturday afternoon for a gel manicure but decided to go with the hybrid overlay instead. My tech barely uttered a word to me. Idk maybe I'm a bit sensitive but I like to say Hello & be courteous to people especially my service providers. First off the salon is beautiful inside; it looks new. They offer many services from nails to facials to lash extensions and even permanent make up. My tech very fairly fast which can be good. But not in my case because It felt a bit of a rush work. My middle nail was crooked and lifted. My technician didn't bother to clean up my cuticles. And I had to have someone wipe up the excess chrome and gel all over my cuticles and fingers with acetone. My total was $120 not including tip. According to the receptionist the breakdown was $68 for the hybrid, $20 for chrome $20 for French tip and $10 for shaping and that's still only $118 idk. The work did not seem worth $120 to me. I tried it but I don't think I'll come back. Just not impressed. There are many salons in town that claim to be "Luxury Salons" but it seems to only appear in their prices not the level of service they provide or work they do. This is solely my own personal experience, there are so many salons in Las Vegas that have great service with great staff. read more
