My caregiver was coming 3 days a week. She was going on vacation, leaving me without any help for 6…read moredays. She was trying to go on vacation and then make up the time later so her vacation wouldn't affect her paycheck, but there was no consideration that I would be without any help for a week. The owner, Pamela, and the office workers of Supreme Home Caregivers also didn't consider me at all. My caregiver was told to just make up the time after she returned from vacation. Pamela knew she was leaving but said and did nothing about staffing me while the caregiver was gone. I had to call and ask if they were sending someone to replace her, and they seemed shocked and surprised at the concept, saying "Ohhhh okay, well let's see and we'll call you back. That is not understandable. Another time, Pamela called to tell me she was changing my hours, which were not acceptable to me. But she still sent my caregiver to a different client, leaving me in a lurch and refusing to return my messages. I ended up 3 days without any help until she called around and found someone. So, she had reassigned my caregiver and then couldn't staff me. WTH? She sent a couple people, one of whom quit after the first week because Pam had called her and she was just trying to help Pam out. The other lady was very unreliable and didn't show up one day and left early another day. I was so afraid of being left without any help, so I sent Pam a text message on Wednesday, December 3rd asking if she has a plan for the coming week, but she ignored me as usual. I asked the same question by text the next day, but she ignored that one too. And then she called me this past Monday morning to tell me no one was coming. So, there I was deserted. When she finally found someone to send to me, she told this new caregiver to work fewer days/hours than I should have received, not to mention there were 12 hours I didn't have anyone that could be made up for. When I asked about it, she got perturbed. When I pointed out that this was the second time she got perturbed with me for bringing something up to her, she denied it and told me I have options if I'm not happy with her service. When I told her she has screwed me over so often that it was wrong to tell me to go elsewhere if I don't like it, she started yelling. I told her goodbye and hung up the phone because I wasn't sitting there on the phone while she screamed at me. She immediately called my caregiver and told her to clock out and leave my home. She has AGAIN left me without the help I need.

From the respite facility, she came to our home. She continued to have physical therapy, occupational therapy and a visiting nurse through Optimal Home Care. They offered us the services of an aide as well for bathing etc, but I'm able to take care of mom and didn't think I needed the offer even though it would have been covered by insurance. I simply cannot say enough good things about the wonderful professionals that work here. The company is outstanding to say the least.... kind, caring, compassionate and always on time. Phone calls to the company are always answered which in today's world, we sometimes expect to get a voicemail and have to leave a message, but not here. So this is also a huge plus. My mom's visiting nurse, has literally saved her a couple of times from a bigger health crisis and I can't thank her enough. When I say she's saved her, she really has saved her life. For that I'm eternally grateful. If you're searching for a home health care company, look no further. You found it. Take my word and know you'll be in excellent hands.
