Let me preface this review with that statement that I do believe in mediums...but I don't believe…read morein all mediums. That is to say, I approached this mediumship session with some healthy skepticism, knowing full well that some mediums look for clues in your response, make vague guesses, etc., etc.; Karissa did not do this. First of all, my session was performed via Skype, which already eliminates any beliefs that she could rely on my responses to guide her reading ((the internet constantly cut in and out, so it was pixelated for her--she never could have read facial expressions or mannerisms!)); despite that, I was sure to give her NOTHING. An expressionless nod, or an "Mm-hmm" was pretty much it from me. Still, she was able to call up information--SPECIFIC information--about real people in my life ((well, previously in my life)), which indicated to me that this was the real deal. She was able to communicate with my Grandmother, whom she completely pegged as passing from Alzheimer's ((remember, I gave her NOTHING to work with...as she narrowed it down from "I'm seeing something with the head" to "...which indicates it was Alzheimer's or dementia, but in her case it seems more like Alzheimer's" I gave no indication as to whether or not she was on the right path)). Perhaps most notable was her communicating with my mother, who passed almost four years ago. Again she pinpointed the exact cause of death ((breast cancer)), and immediately brought up a situation with my father that I am currently going through ((that my mother would have been LIVID over!)). I had some general questions about reaching success in my chosen profession ((an extremely competitive field--let's just say "Hollywood")), and Karissa said "Your mother tells me your name will be well known for what you do in about three years...but Dorothy, she REALLY wants me to tell you that you're already there. You've already begun. This is the beginning." This FLOORED me, because I did JUST begin a job at a highly esteemed place for what I do ((albeit a low-level job)), and if my mother were here, she would have said the same thing: that I'm already there, and I need to realize it. Here's my general opinion, and obviously you can take it or leave it: even if you don't believe in mediums, I strongly suggest trying just one session with Karissa. In fact, I strongly suggest giving mediumship a try generally speaking...because even if you don't believe in mediums, I think you'll find an incredible sense of solace, even in those moments, believing that you could--possibly--still hear from your loved ones. And I think that solace and comfort is worth its weight in gold. Karissa gave me my first venture into mediumship, and my statement still stands: I believe in mediums, but I don't believe in all mediums. Karissa is one of the good ones. She comes highly recommended from a bitter old skeptic like me!
