Nice place. Big rooms, and a great location. Only negative is the bedding. The hotel could really use a refresh on the beds and linens...

Really convenient to everything at Long Branch Beach. First a shout out to Guest Experiences Manager Kate Fowler who took care of helping us with reservations to multiple events and stayed in touch throughout. She was awesome. Always friendly, courteous and helpful. Next Front Desk Nicole who went way beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay, with directions, advice and was a huge reason for a great stay. She is a keeper and will help with anything you need. She works the afternoon shift and even though the peak check-in, will take her time to explain everything in great detail. The Property is easy to find and with a convenient initial park at the back of the hotel, then the card to enter the garage right behind with free in/out parking included in your daily rate. Having covered parking on hot days is a must (PS if you check out, you can park in the 30 minute parking spots until you leave). Another tip, don't struggle with the trolley trying to enter the Hotel as there is a slight bump in the rear door to negotiate. Just go Infront and pull your trolley and it's much easier to enter. The lobby is fab and has entertainment for all. From a pool table, to soccer table and comfortable seating. Its where breakfast pastries and coffee/tea is provided and has a small bar. There is one elevator given the size of the Property but access using the stairs is easy. Rooms are spacious, housekeeping is done daily and there is little you need once in your rooms. Now another tip. Your stay allows access to the WAVE resort and to its private beach, pool and gym. You have to show your room key and will be issued armbands. Note that it's a 10-15 minute walk and not immediately close by but well worth the visit. Alex Warren manages the Property and is really helpful to show you around. From the Hotel it is a block to the Pier Shopping Center and the most awesome restaurants around. The beach is clean and so is the boardwalk. Book early and Kate can help with suggestions. Wonderful stay at this Property and we plan to return again and again.

Gloria and Bob go above and beyond to make you feel at home and comfortable. My boyfriend and I showed up early prior to check in and Bob was nice enough to grant us a beach pass to Sandy Hook while we waited for our room to be ready, which Gloria does a very thorough job cleaning. The room was very clean, picturesque, and loaded with beautiful views as the entire home overlooks the ocean. We stayed in the Precious Moments room which although may be very girly in nature made us feel cozy and welcomed. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and felt like a cloud. No noise around to keep you up. The bathroom was just as cute with a soaking tub which had a huge window overlooking the ocean. There was also a standing shower which was less grand but got the job done. I especially loved reading the entries from prior bed and breakfastees before us who clearly enjoyed their time in this room as well. Now this establishment is pet friendly which I loved and you are greeted by the adorable Freckles who appears to be blind but gets around very well and loves his scratches and seems to be very ticklish if I might add. There are also a plethora of friendly cats lounging around. Lastly, the cherry on top was the amazing breakfast provided by Bob and Gloria. Bob takes your actual breakfast order from their menu and Gloria chef's it up. Prior to ordering you are greeted with a fresh bowl of fruit (the cherries were out of this world!) and a batch on Gloria's famous muffins. While we were here we had three different types and they were all so good we ended up taking the extras to the beach. Overall we had such a pleasant experience and would recommend those looking for a relaxing space away from the craziness of jersey shore to check in at the seascape manor. :)

Everything is made for each guest perfectly ( the rooms, breakfasts, beach passes, etc). Most people there have been going for years because it's so nice. I do have to say though that if you are allergic to cats you may need to consider another place. Pets are allowed there and they have a lot of cats. There are 4 beautiful rooms with 3 of them having excellent views and 2 with balconies and 1 with a little porch. Sunrises are Amazing too.

Our room was made up without issue and restocked perfectly! Our housekeeper did a terrific job! We ate at their tiki bar outback, as well as their breakfast buffet and room service and on our departure day! Each meal was perfectly presented and very good! If we lived in the area, I know we would be back! As it is, it was a terrific break from our life on the road and a wonderful chance to catch up with family in the area! Well done!

They snuck it in ours once we asked for itemized bill Hate leaving poor reviews for businesses that rely so heavily on them this day and age, but have to share this story to give others a heads up to some suspicious activity and hope that managers see and stop this from happening. We got 4 drinks at the tiki bar today from a younger blonde male bartender. Once we asked for the check he gave us an unitemized receipt that was higher than we expected. We asked for an itemized receipt to check, which he hesitated to get. Upon looking we were charged a 22% "large party surcharge". Not an included tip, a surcharge to then tip on top of. We were 4 people. We asked why that charge was there and he said it was a mistake, then sent someone else over with the corrected bill amount. I have a feeling this happens way more than we think. Always get your bill itemized people, this was unethical behavior that I can't trust.

Surfrider Beach Club

I am writing this review because I feel strongly that a family was treated extremely unfairly by…read morethe owners of the Surfrider Beach Club. This family had been loyal members for approximately five years and built many friendships within the club community. For the 2026 season, they paid roughly $8,000 in membership fees. About a week before the official opening, they stopped by briefly--at approximately 2:55 pm, just minutes before the 3:00 pm closing--to drop off a single bin at their cabana. This was a simple, two-minute task. Instead, they were confronted by a maintenance employee, Jimmy, in what can only be described as an unnecessarily aggressive and disproportionate manner. The situation escalated quickly over something minor and easily resolved. Thankfully, their children were not present to witness it. The following day, the family was informed that their membership had been canceled. According to the owners, this decision was driven by the same employee, who reportedly threatened to leave if the family remained. He also made several accusations against them--claims the family firmly denies. What is most troubling is that the owners appear to have accepted these accusations at face value and made a drastic decision without a fair or balanced review. Long-standing, paying members were removed based on one employee's demands, with no meaningful attempt at resolution. The explanation given--that the club "can't afford to lose him right now"--is not only disappointing, but speaks volumes about how little value is placed on members who have invested both financially and socially in the club. The impact has been especially hard on the children, who were part of the swim team and are now excluded from a place that had been an important part of their summers for years. At its core, this situation reflects a serious failure in judgment and management. Members should expect fairness, professionalism, and basic respect--none of which were demonstrated here. Anyone considering joining Surfrider Beach Club should think carefully before making a significant commitment. Based on this experience, there is little assurance that members will be treated reasonably if an issue arises. While this has been a deeply disappointing experience, the family has fortunately found another club where they hope to be treated with the consideration and respect they deserve.

So psyched to kick off the 2019 summer season! Our family has made Surfrider our home away from…read morehome and we couldn't imagine being a member anywhere else.
